Describe an instance of it. There is another thread about it, but often so much is included under the term.

[deja vu is a term in wich used to describe a memory or dream that is re occuring twiceover or more. Normally it is when you have been somewhere and something memorabal happened to you, either you nearly get hit by a speeding car and such... you are going about your normalities when everything seems almost ... emotionless, akward or you feel as though the fabric of time itself has slowed... You can barely realize that you have been there at that exact moment before...the reason for deja vu is yet a mystery to me but i know it has a reason...

Its normally an occuarance where u find urself overcome by the sensation and memory that u have been there before....doing that before...experiancing this previously....and sometimes u cannot recall when or how u experianced it...and sometimes u recall it was a dream before but this instance it is actually reality. I believe its a result of time and mental plane overlap.

Some believe that deja vu is a good sign your on the right path. If you touch somoene and you get deja vu then you were meant to be there. And or it confirms you are the correct path.

If that's true, then I don't like my path.
I had deja vu once, it was really weird. A guy was talking, and then another shot in a comment, and I knew I'd seen them both do the same before. Movemements, everything. Only in my head there was a green background (grass?) instead of the hut we were in.
But...if this proves I was supposed to be there...I don't really think I was. I had a bad feeling for the weekend, I didn't want to go. Last time I had a bad feeling I got stung by a wasp and had to get cortison shots at the emergency room to get my poor face back to normal size.
This time our car, the prettilicious little Lada, got broken into, completely ravaged, they broke one of the locks, the back seat and the trunk lid, and stole the cd player and my wallet. Evil. The car was never the same again.
Next time, if I don't want to go, I'll stay home.

Nah, you should still go, seriously. All life is experience, it's up to you wether that's good or bad.
But as for deja vu, well, I have absolutely no doubt that it is latent pre-cognative abilities of the subconscious.

They ruined my car...that's unforgiveable. :p
Seriously...I'll follow my gut feeling, that too is a good lesson. Listen to your instincts.. Especially if I'm supposed to have the kids with me.
