Hello, all. I have read the various posts about psi vamps and all that, and wondered about the Empaths that one member mentioned, emotion-sucking vamps. But I know there are no "real" vampires, as the legends proclaim them to be--immortal, blood-thirsting evil beings.

I, however, have had an acute bloodlust since a young child. I liked to think I was a vampire, and another boy had bitten me on the neck in kindergarten. I have always had a strong sense of things; i was sensitive to thoughts and emotions emanating from others. I only have to focus on them and I get readings of their personality, thoughts, and emotions. I feel ultimately better when I can read them and figure them out so quickly, and it is so satisfying. I also have countless dreams of vampires. Does any of this tie into a possible vamp? Just curious. Thank you.

but u could jsut be good with people, like some know the human mind so good that it sometimes seems a miracle as to how they know stuff about how someone is feeling, but thats not really hard,

now what would make u special would be doing this without seeing or hearing the ppl u can read, so can u do that

hmm. If you don't think that there are any real vampires, than why do you describe yourself as such? In any case, you might have an acute case of pophyria. This rare disorder is the inability to produce a specific enzyme and was also called the "vampire disease", because in cases it effects the production of pigment and the overproduction of calcium phosphate to create "vampire" teeth. as for emo-vamps, they are all around us, in this forum. I am not, but am here to offer my advice on situations involving them. You also may have a case of psychic empathy, another rare gift.

Keep your eyes open for other syptoms.Having one or two syptoms does not make one a vampire,as if it did,the world would be teeming with them.
You are a gifted person,but it would be better if you did a little research yourself,before coming to conclusions.
Only you know what you are going through,so you will have to help yourself.

Anyhow, it seems to me that you are empathic; that is if what you said about being sensitive about people's emotions are accurate.

About you being a vampire; you said a boy bit you in Kindergarden, I am suprised you remember that . .and I don't think that a boy in kindergarden biting you on the neck is a "sign" of you being a vampire.

i had similar memories of childhood.
my own childhood.
there was always the connection with the people around me. i feared to be alone, not for the typical childish reasons, but i feared it never the less. photographs sparks memories and they turn into dramatic films infront of my eyes. i realise now that many of the dreams i woke to could possibly be not that at all.
memories it now seems.

i had a particuliar style when i was young, with the friendships i formed. i would befriend a strong character. a particuliarly popular girl usually socially ranked with passion and leadership. the devotion i would hold to these girls now seems irrelevant, but in a sense i became the reflect in those early years.
from a young age i was learning to become, learning to adapt.

i wonder often if that was the untainted 'call' from the very beginning?
has anyone else had these similar childhood memories?

I don't see anything connected to vampirism in terms of befriending people of strong will and character; in fact its a good thing to befriend people with such qualities because it tends to rub off on ya after a while.

Not wanting to be alone; no child wants to be alone (without reason); everyone at some point in their child hood craved attention and love and feared being left the fare for themselves . . I don't see anything abnormal about that . .well not in terms of a connection to being a vampire.
