"Undone"

Lonely travels upon broken dreams
Violent waves crush gentle streams
Without you here they day turns black
Lost and confused, there's no going back

Seeds of dispair grow deep in my heart
Wondering when did it all start
Lied to by all; Loved by none
This is how my life comes undone

Chaos ensues as the darkness grows
Breathing lightly as my blood flows
As cols as death my heart beats slow
Why this has happened I'll never know

It's coming now, this heavy sensation
Brought on by fear, by doubt and frustration
I've expected this for quite a while
As I relax, my face grows a smile

I now give in right here where I lie
Embracing the dark, one breath and I die

This is one I wrote several years ago:

"The Mirage"

I see a large hill in the distance
And travel many miles toward it
But it seems to be getting farther away
I see that it has beautiful flowers blooming
And large, full trees
It seems to stand out in this desolate place
I see no one around save a girl
A girl with short blonde hair sitting on the hill
She becons me, teases me, to come forward
It seems like an eternity before I start to get closer
I see the beautiful flowers clearer
And the girl is also becoming more distinct
As I get closer, I see more things
I see red behind the flowers
And the girl...the girl has disappeared
I now see that the flowers are ablaze
The whole hill is aflame
I try to run back but I can't
I soon realize that the beauty I once saw before me
Was just a mirage...
To lure me into hell.

Failure
Lying in solitude in the dark, desperate hours
Waiting for someone, something to free me
Bound by doubt and shckled by regret
What have I done? Why did it hapen?
Memories of a failed love flood my mind
Times of joy struck down by the knives of pain
Stabbing deep into my chest, piercing my heart

She sits there in the corner
Speaking to me no more; Sitting in silence
Does she share my pain? My regret?
Stains upon the floor now in my eyes
A stinging warmth fills them
My lips now salty-sweet
The taste fills my mouth
From the darkness flows deep red
To dark again
