My advice as an elder... Don't feed on people in clubs! EVER! You will either burst from too much energy, either catch some disease, or both! Besides, it's tiring as hell!

Better late than never. I made the same mistake once, but soon realized the stupid thing I was doing. Don't feed in public places again and if you do, try to focus on only one person and make sure it's clean.

I on the other hand, would not turn away from it. If you're having these troubles in the first place, than good. That shows you are at least drawn to a particular feeding ground, or situation. If feeding there is more comfortable, than practice it.
Since there are so many other people crammed together with one goal on their mind, realeasing lots of energy, the best thing for you to do in order to help gain focus, is sheild yourself. Once you feel you can isolate yourself that way, you have an endless amount of ways to visualize, or feel, whatever you prefer, and drain their energy. I personally use many different ways, vision it as a blue beam of mist entering my eyes, or breath it in. Some visualize yellow ribbons leeching off their prey. Once again, its a matter of personal preference. And if you decide not to feed in that enviroment anymore, than perhaps I helped you elsewhere.

I still stick to the ideea that feeding in public is dangerous. It's a very big chance to get sick and the first thing a young one should know is that they come first at all times.

maybe it's time for me to ask about this,
lately (since the last full moon) I have been almost unable to feed, I don't really know why,
I think a shield went terribly wrong or somethign attacked me or I dunno, I've been having to drink enormous amounts of black and green tea just to function, but I really want feeding back,
any ideas on what I could do to start feeding again?

Look at it this way. The wolf hunts for its food in order to survive, it lives for that hunt, and its instincts accompany it for the hunt. You don't see a wolf and a sheep get together and talk and the sheep decide to let the wolf take a bite out of it once in a while. That sounds ridiculous, I think so myself when people offer to be my doner. Though it may be a bit more dangerous for the wolf to approach an entire heard than it would be one lone sheep, the wolf will learn to overcome those situations. All you need to do, is sheild yourself. Use youre sheild as a filter to block the things you don't want. I would strongly suggest reading some articles from this site to help you learn to do that
http://www.kheperu.org they have lots of advice and excersises there that will help you out.

You're really starting to make me sick. A self promoted elder huh? Funny that in all my life knowing I've been a Psi, I have yet to meet an elder. I only know that there are psi's out there that are wiser than me. You are no better than a gothic kid that got into Vampire The Masquerade and now drinks blood in public to show off the fact that he's a self proclaimed Vampire. Its ridiculous, and you need to stop giving bad advice to people on something you obviously know very little about yourself. I beleive you are the same person who said that Psi's never feed on just one person, now you're caught saying to never feed in crowds, so which is it? You know exactly what I am talking about, and you know the point I'm trying to get to you, so I don't need to be too specific. However, I will call you out in public when you make absurd posts.

Touche`... But we know eachother for quite a while. Even though we never spoke much or because of that, I do take offense in your words. True, I am no elder, I appologise. I meant veteran, someone that has experience and, I assure you, has met too many such cases in the past years. Don't know how much you know about the paranormal (not just PSI) and don't really give a damn, but if you offend me in public again, I'll make sure you'll regret your words. And this is a warning, not a threat... I'm not a goth (don't agree with their way of thinking life), I don't drink blood and my clan, may it be inspired by a stupid White-Wolf game clan, is real either you like it or not. If you are to clasify vampires, sang or psi, you will find them to be suited for a clan, just like the ones in the game.
Made a valid point: the wolf doesn't ask the sheep if he can take a bite! True! The wolf does attack the heard sometimes! Also true! But you don't send a fuckin' puppy to do a big dog's job! You talk about bad advices? Have you heard yourself? Sending a begginer to feed from an entire mob... F.o.L., if you don't have anything smart or premeditated to say, shut up. You'll end up hurting people and won't even know it... And yes, smartass. I said Psi don't feed on one person. As in one person for a long period of time. They feed from several... but INDIVIDUAL! One at a time! Sheep by sheep! Not the whole heard at once!
Yeah. You made the point.
Trust whom you want, energyvamp. But I will play safe now and later... when I'll consider myself as experienced as Feeder here.

The answer isn't that hard. It might be a couple of things.
1. They might know what you're doing self conciously and it's their subconcious (soul) that is blocking it.
2. They conciously know what you're doing and am blocking themselves. or,
3. You made eye contact. You broke the secrecy of the act when normally you are an undetectable preditor and therefore didn't do as well. It could be confidance, but then again, it could be lack of hunger (mental fullness?)
