NightSky
*His forgotten dreams abruptly pushed aside due to the constant ringing, Nathan rolled over in bed, moaning. In his sleep-like state, he still wasn't sure what it was that awakened him from the deepest sleep of his life, but he forced his eyes open to dark reality. Waiting for his vision to adjust, he slowly began to rise to a fully concious state. Concious enough to know that it was his phone ringing, and almost as a reflex, he quickly extended his arm and picked up the reciever. He brought the reciever to his ear, looking out the window, and seeing dark. "Hello?" he spoke tiredly, his voice cracking, as he turned his attention to the clock. Two o'clock in the morning exactly, and his eyes widened with curiosity as to who would be calling at such an hour. "Hello?" he repeated, with growing impatience.
"Nathan", came a shivering voice, which he didn't recognize. It was clearly female, and sounded very weak. Very... afraid.
"Hello?" he repeated as if he hadn't heard her before.
"Nathan", she repeated, in more of a cry. His eyebrows shot up with sudden fear and surprise.
"...April?" he spoke with disbelief, almost hoping that it wasn't her. He had spent the whole month wishing, praying that every phone call, every knock at the door was her. But she was too afraid, too weak for him to ever with it to be April.
"Nathan, I... I didn't know who else to call", he could tell by her voice that she was choking back long sobs of fear and streams of tears, and he knew it was her, as much as he didn't want it to be.
"April, what... what's the matter?"
"I don't know what to do, something's-- something's happened to me. I just... can you please come meet me?"

Walking in the late night (more like early morning) air, so crisp an pure, his teeth chattering, Nathan wandered down the long road leading out of his neighborhood, straight for Hellion Cemetary. He was afraid for April, terrified. Why would she ask him to meet her at a cemetary at two in the morning, and with such fear in her voice? He had always hoped that her late-night call to meet him would be filled with excitement and daring, where they would giggle at every sound, and he would hold and kiss her until the sun came up. But this was different. He was afraid for her... and for himself.
He finally arrived at the cemetary, and it seemed to trap an even deeper darkness than the rest of the night. He remembered that even during the day, this place encased the deepest forms of darkness. He looked around rapidly, his eyes shifting in search of his first date, his first kiss, his first relationship with any girl his own age. "April?" he whispered out into the black air in front of him, only seeing the white cloud of fog that came from his lips, and rose in front of him. He quieted in anticipation of her response, and after what seemed like several minutes, but couldn't have been more than a few short seconds, he heard a quiet, low sobbing. He turned his attention to the small mosuleum that hid behind the shadows of the dying trees that surrounded. He followed the sobbing until he arrived at the entrance of the mosuleum, where he stopped. He smelled the scent of musty dampness, and the small, wimpering cries seemed to echoe in every direction. He took a deep breath in, heightened his posture, and ventured inside.
The dark so thick, he could not see far enough to see where the room ended, he took small steps toward the continuous cries. He immediately stopped when he heard the sobbing stop, and steady taps on the stone floor, progressing toward him. His eyes widened, and he wanted to run, but firmly planted his feet to the floor, as he was able to make out a figure approaching him. At first, the person didn't look like anyone he recognized, but as she stopped in front of him, he saw that it was April. But she looked... different. Maybe it was because of the moonlight shining in through the doorway, or possibly because he had never seen her crying before. But she was definately different. She looked down at the floor, letting her dark hair fall over her face. "Nathan, I..." she sniffeled, and trailed off.
"April, what's--" he reached a hand out to her, and put the tips of his fingers on the bottom of her chin. He lifted her chin until she looked up at him, and was silenced by shock. Her lips were parted slightly, and all he could see protruding down was two long, glowing white fangs.
She began to cry loudly now, tears streaming down her cheeks, and that was when he noticed her eyes. Her once-dark brown eyes now a fierce, pale blue. And her face... everything was different. "What's happening to me?" she cried, throwing her arms around his neck. "What's happening to me?"*

((I'M NEW TO THIS AREA OF THE FORUM, SO I HOPE I UNDERSTAND HOW IT ALL WORKS... EVERYONE'S INVITED!))
Madam_Mew_Mew
Then came the woman stepping from the shadows with such a diabolic grace that it made one shiver to look at her. She was so pale she might have been carved from alabaster, like some fantastic living sclupture, her eyes were as emotionless and glassy as that of a china doll and as pale blue. Her hair was stick straight and jet black worn long and pulled back into a perfect black ponytail. Her lips were full and sensual, colord a deep dark red not through artifice but by nature, her eyes were outlined in kohl and they would have burnd feircly even without this accent, she spoke with a heavy Russian accent "I beleve that i can tell you that." She grinned and long wicked white fangs glinted in the dim light. "but, my question to you is do you really want to know?" Her English was excellent no hesitation, no pauses, but something about it was undeniably forign. She worre a black satin robe, falling off one pale shoulder reavealing an exquisit collar bone
NightSky
April turned to this exquisite woman, her eyes welled with tears, a questioning look upon her face. She remembered her. She remembered something... she knew the woman's face. She knew that hair, those piercing eyes. Nathan looked at both of them, the world seeming to spin around him in a mad rush of nightmarish events. This nameless woman smiled, and as she did, April remembered. Her mind flashed back to a time she had previously blocked out. And in remembering this, she raised her hand to her neck, rubbing her fingertips over two protruding scars that ran deeply into her... and she remembered.
Madam_Mew_Mew
"I see you are beaganning to rember." She said softly her smile ending abruptly. "Now who is this?" She said pointing a well manicured pale finger at Nathan, while she adjusted her hair with the other "An old lover perhapes, a brother? A protecter." She said slowly with a wicked grin, her eyes seemd to grow darker, turning from pale ice blue to cold icey depths, to cave darkness and seemd almost to glow with the sheer absense of light
NightSky
April slowly turned her face to look up at Nathan, and all at once, realized that she never should have called him. This was far beyond anything he could do for her, and she knew that. "He's just..." April's voice trailed off, shivering, and the last thing she wanted to do was involve him further. "No one", she finished. "No one." He looked back down to her, his eyebrows raised painfully. No one? He felt his stomache turning with fear, not of April's monstrous change, or the mysterious woman in the doorway, but of the fact that maybe April hadn't loved him. They hadn't known each other all that long, but he was sure he loved her. And he had hoped she felt the same.

April's eyes were refilling with tears, knowing she had hurt him, but hoping it was for the best. "You should go", she said to him.
Madam_Mew_Mew
The woman smiled softly "He is more than no one, I know that dear, now tell me who he is, and everything will be alright." She had come up behind herand was stroaking the girl's hair like one might stroack a treasured, but dissobidient pet.
"Now young man, you did know this young woman?" She said gently, cruely. Her voice was low and sinister, a gently hand reaching out to get what it wanted and then it would turn to a serpent to bite with deadly venom and poisen them all, to destroy all good things
NightSky
Nathan was quick to stumble back away from her reaching hand, nearly falling over. He processed the question for a moment, and looked to April. "Yes... I knew her", he spoke. He didn't like speaking of their relationship in past tense, but he somehow felt it was appropriate. The mosoleum was so cold, goosebumps traveling over his body, his teeth chattering... but April and the woman now approaching him didn't seem to be cold at all. Not one goosebump, and when they spoke, clouds of fog didn't come from their lips.

The woman's eyes seemed to burn into April's, concentrating on her, seeming to see through her. Realizing this, April quickly turned her head, and looked to Nathan. She wanted him to leave. She wanted him to get out as soon as he could. At the same time, however, there was something incredibly alluring about him. Something very instinctive and animal-like in her wanted him to stay... wanted him, somehow. She didn't know what exactly, but she craved something in him.
Madam_Mew_Mew
The woman smiled at him "You can have her if you come a little closer." She said, her breath was sweet with the tiniest under note of death.
"Don't you want him dear?" She said softly whispering into her ear "Don't you want him." She was smiling now, her voice was sweet kind, as if offering a treat "Don't you miss him?" Her pale cold hands gripped April'sequally cold flesh her long french tipped nails digging in slightly as her deadly icey dark eyes deepend
NightSky
Nathan took a hesitant step toward April, more afraid that she wouldn't want him, rather than what this piercingly striking woman might do. He stopped after the step, looking at April, and sensing that she still did care for him. She then pulled away from the woman, and ran into Nathan's arms, crying into his shoulder. He quickly embraced her, holding her tightly. She layed her head on his shoulder, crying and being held. She looked at his neck, right near her face. Her eyes searched it for a pulsing vein. When she found a large, blue vein that protruded slightly, she wondered why she had searched for it in the first place. That thought quickly pushed aside, she slowly moved her lips closer to his neck, covered with goosebumps. She moved very slowly and unsurely, and for the first time in her life, she really didn't understand herself. She finally brought her lips to his neck, and as he felt the warmth of her, he sooner felt a piercing, numbing pain.

She sunk her newborn fangs into him deeply, and closed her eyes as she began to drink from him. His arms tightened around her at first, tight enough to be considered painful in other circumstances, but in that moment, her world only consisted of what she was doing... and how it made her feel. She wasn't thinking, her mind was a literal blank. She only fed, and she fed some more.

Loosening his grip on her, Nathan's knees weakened, and he quickly dropped to the floor, leaving April standing with his sweet blood cooling on her lips. She looked down at him, her eyes welling up with tears for the last time, and all at once understood what she had done... but didn't know why.
Madam_Mew_Mew
"See your first kill, lovely, I applaud you." Said the woman moving to catch her if she fell some did realizing what they'd done. She hadn't she'd loved it, the taste of blood, the icey pale body on the floor and the deliscious evil she had wrought upon the world through her actions, after what he had done to her he had deserved it, and her lover the one who'd saved her, and turnd her from the silly idealistic hippie she had been to herself, she thanked him and had lain at his feet for what seemd a thousand nights. "Aren't you proud, better to make the cut clean, no ragged edges."
NightSky
April wanted to ask this woman who she was, why she was here, what she had done... something inside her, however, told her that she was supposed to already know. And perhaps she did.

Unable to cry anymore, even if she had wanted to, April dried her tears with the back of her hand. Whatever it was she had become, she knew she couldn't live this new life alone. And this woman, this... creature (she knew now that she could not be human) was the only one that seemed to be capable of leading her through this upside-down life she had taken on, so suddenly.
Madam_Mew_Mew
The woman patted her shulder and handed her an expensive delcatly wrought hankercheif.
"Dry your tears, and pack, we must leave, before this." She proded the corpse with a Gucci shod toe "Is found." She looked for a suitcase "Pack only what you will need, I can take you shopping if you want, but hurry." She said her voice was urgent her body tensed listening for something, police siren or a stake weilding mob even she didn't know, it was a primal urge and in a heart beat she obeyed she'd learnd long ago to trust her instincts. She mentally dug through her Verscea purse for the revolver she always carried.
"Do you have a kitchen?" She asked trying to remain calm, she would have liked some type of snack, not that human food offerd her nouroshment anymore, but she did like the taste and a glass of wine, perhapes soe french bread, grapes... she licked her lips at the vision of a tasteful repast
NightSky
"Well... yes..." April's voice trailed off, not quite sure what this woman was getting at. "But my parents are sleeping, and my mother is a very light sleeper. They think I am at a friend's house for the night. I can't let them wake up and see me like this. Or see you", she realized aloud, with horror. That was when the realization struck her that she wouldn't see her parents again. Or her grandparents, or her little brother. She wouldn't see anyone. Except, of course, for her new... friend.

"I think I can get in through my bedroom window, I usually leave it open. Just to gather my things. But the kitchen is too close to my parents' bedroom, they'll hear us." April was lying, however. The kitchen wasn't close to her parents' room, it wasn't even close. And her mother was anything but a light sleeper. She could sleep through an earthquake, and probably would, if one were to occur. But April did not want this woman in her house or near her family. She feared that could lead them to a fate, similar to that of Nathan's. And she could see in the woman's face that she was getting thirsty.
Madam_Mew_Mew
"I woulddn't worry, something about our kind... encourages deep sleep." She said with another wicked smile as she slipped a darker shadow in darkness tword the kitchen for her snack. She might have struggled to maintain her trim and lovely figure in life but now she could gorge herself with no ill effects, truely one of the greatest benefits of her kind. She took out a loaf of french bread some grapes and a bottle of wine. She uncorked the bottle and didn't bother with a glass drinking straight from the bottle. "Good wine." She said wiping her mouth and tearing at a hunk of the new baked bread. Her sharp canines tering at the whitness of the bread, as they had torn at some many oher delacate white things
NightSky
April watched her, terrified, and found herself not the least bit hungry, not even after almost the entire day without food. Not any sort of hungry she recognized, anyway. There was something so terrifyingly striking about this woman, yet incredibly alluring. It was as if there were something magical about her, and April had no doubt that there was. She turned and headed to her room, to pack her things. She shocked herself at how easily she packed her things, and was ready to follow this stranger to wherever she took her. On the other hand, what other choice did she have?
Madam_Mew_Mew
She smiled finishing "Ready?" She asked picking up her black velvet hand bag and walking her hips swaying triumphantly down the midnight corridor outside the apartment. Her stilleto heels made the merest click on the old fashiond tiled floor "There's a cab waiting" She said, she was powerful her orginatzation had many front companies and it was unlikely that the cab driver would be either human, or likely to question her athority. She had some unusual drivers for unusual customers
NightSky
"Yes", April sighed, more to herself than to anyone else. But she wasn't ready. She was the furthest from ready that she had ever been, and she had a feeling that her mysterious new friend knew that. It had all happened so fast, and what had she done to deserve it? She shouldn't have lied to her parents. She shouldn't have said that she was sleeping at Renee's house, and she shouldn't have gone out alone at night. But she had wanted to see Nathan. She had wanted to see him so badly, and she imagined them walking the night together, his arms around her, as they would giggle and hide with every sound, every headlight beam.

Nathan was gone now, and she hadn't fully understood that until she followed her 'mentor' out to the cab. She was leaving her life behind to begin a new one, without even the slightest hint of what lay ahead of them.
Madam_Mew_Mew
She walked down the stairs, the elevator had never suited her, and she was sure her charge with her new found strength would be able to manege her bags. She took a candy bar from her purse and muched, no possiblity of cavities, no pimples and no weight gain so why not. She gorged almost everymoment of every day, her purse was a stash of candy, in her bedside table more of the same. Sugar, salt, cream anythng that suited her fancy. The dark rich taste of fine Geridehli chocolate in her mouth gave her pause, so much like sex, and yet so diffrent
NightSky
Watching her eat her candy and ravenously savor it as if it were ecstacy itself, April recognized something she had felt since the moment she became... whatever it is that she was. Everything was different somehow, and she wasn't sure she could quite point it out. The world appeared different, moving, tingling, it was as if a mortal veil had been removed from over her eyes, and she could see the world for what it truely was. She felt so strong, so healthy, so... good! She wasn't supposed to like being what she was, but somehow she felt better in every way than she had ever known possible. And this scared her...
Madam_Mew_Mew
"Want some, sorry I'm just a bit of a gormand, you see as a human i was an idelouge, deneying the body to further the soul, and now since I have no soul, I have become a hedonist, I seek all th pleasure the world may offer, so that I can makeup for my idiotic silly human life." She said breaking off a peice of the chocolate bar and handing it to her charge "I live for good food, good lovers, good books and beautiful art, nothing has meaning without beauty, don't you agree?" She asked tossing her glossy head of black hair and letting out a dry moth chuckle
NightSky
April nodded in a distanced daze, not really thinking in the moment, as she reached out and accepted the chocolate. Looking at it now, she wasn't all that hungry or tempted, but found herself nibbling on it anyhow. "...What is your name?" April asked, feeling surprised that she did not know... she felt like she knew this woman so well already, and didn't even know her name.
Madam_Mew_Mew
"Lilith, most of the time, but not always." She said smiling, and stufing the wrapper from her candy bar back into her bag.
"Have you ever read Dracula, The Vampire Chronicles, ever watched... underworld?" She asked with a sly smile
NightSky
April shook her head shyly. "I don't like those kinds of stories... I think I saw 'Interview With The Vampire' once a long time ago, but I don't remember it..." But she did remember it. She remembered it, well. And she did like those kinds of stories. She loved them. She knew them all well... something in her made her want to lie though, something told her that now, she shouldn't like those kinds of stories. That there was something very wrong about all of it...
Madam_Mew_Mew
"its too bad, knowing them would make it so much easier for you to understand." Sad the woman with a sigh, although such stories were often riddled with innaccuracy they were at least a guide, a parameter for the unknown, for the strange, for her world. Arriving on the first floor she held toe door for her charge, outside waited a suprisingly ordinary looking yellow taxi cab, however the cab was might have been everything, exept ordinary, it was a vechicle that might pass into the city beside and between the city
NightSky
As Lilith approached the cab, going ahead, April stood still, looking at the ground in a daze. She may have looked as if her mind were traveling in a million different directions of worry and curiosity, but her mind was an absolute blank. She closed her eyes, and focused on the inside of her eyelids, breathing deeply... trying to remember how things used to be. She couldn't. She didn't even remember what if felt like to be herself, but she knew that this wasn't it. She was something else, who felt and saw the world differently. Even the black of the inside of her eyelids was different than it once was, yet remained the same.
NightSky
Hours traveled like seconds as April and her new... mentor... made their way in the opposite direction of everything she once knew. No idea where they were headed, not really caring anymore, April was in a daze as she looked out the window of the cab, watching the world she once knew being left behind.
Madam_Mew_Mew
The soon moved into a district of the city no mortle had ever come into and left. The skeleton's closet, neon signs depicted macabre imagry, Snake eyes casino, Devil's in, people, but not people walked the streets women with horns and animated skeletons in top hats walked the street, angels and demons, vampires and werewolves roamd these streets every beastie which "Didn't exsist" was here
NightSky
April wearily looked about her, sure that she had fallen asleep during the cab ride, witnessing what, at first glance, appeared to be a busy city of normal city people. When she observed more closely, however, she saw that this was not right. These were not people, but... creatures. Convincing herself that she was dreaming, but knowing that was not so, her eyes shot open in a shocked panic as she turned to look to Lilith. Lilith only smiled back blankly, and April found asking questions pointless. She had watched their entire journey through the window, with still no idea or recollection of how they came to arrive here.

This place was dark, horrible, terrifying, nightmarish, and... beautiful.
Madam_Mew_Mew
She threw the cabman some forign looking coins and pointed to a beautifully ominus house on a hill turets and spires arose from the dark shape, a belry was in sharp sillohette against the velvet sky.
"That's home." She said hefting one of her charges heavy bags as she waved to a winged woman passing by, the woman smiled mysteriously and said
"I've got you... object"
NightSky
April looked about her, and was fascinated. It was as if every creature, every object, every detail was something completely foreign. At what point did they cross over to this... place? She looked up and saw dragons and winged... fairies... filled the air. The air was crisp and cool, and clear. Even the sky looked different, looked deeper somehow. Looked like something close and solid that she could reach out and touch. She turned to find her bags on the ground behind her, and the cab gone. Lilith waited for her patiently, and April finally forced herself back to reality... if she could call this place reality... and picked up her suitcases. She followed Lilith down a stone path, as they approached the beautiful mansion of a house, which she would now call home.
EvilLion
As Lilith and April reached the front door of the mansion, the door slowly swung inward. Holding the door open was a young man of about 18 years of age. “The guest room has been prepared as you ordered Mistress” he said in an submissive voice. Lilith only nodded and walked by him as if he never even existed. At the bottom of the staircase Lilith turned to April, “This is Leo and he is yours to use as you please”. April looked at Leo in bewilderment “MINE…WHAT YOU MEAN MINE?” ….”My family has served Lilith and her charges for generations. If she commands me to serve you in every capacity as you wish, then that is what I will do Mistress April" Leo said duitfully. April dropped her bags to the floor in shock and turns to Lilith “but I don’t need….” The cold penetrating look of anger in Lilith’s eyes warned April from finishing her statement. “Take her bags up to the room and unpack her as your mistress and I have little chat she commanded Leo. Grabbing April tightly by the arm she dragging her toward a room left of the spiral staircase
NightSky
Shocked by the incredible force and strength that Lilith's thin arm contained, April's arm throbbed with pain as Lilith's grip on her tightened. Once they arrived inside the room, Lilith finally let go of her, and April looked up at the tall woman who looked back at her. Lilith's face and body were that of a young and vibrant beauty, though April could read her age in her eyes. Behind those eyes layed hundreds of years of life and experience.

Hearing Leo fumbling with their bags out in the hallway, April saw something in Lilith's eyes that caused her to remember... to remember her own creation. She remembered that look, that glare, that fire behind those piercing eyes, she remembered that look and she remembered what followed. All at once, she was fascinated and fearful as she stumbled backward away from Lilith, nearly stumbling her own feet. She somehow expected Lilith to lunge at her and bite into her neck, drink her all over again, as she had before. April remembered that look, April remembered Lilith darting into her neck beyond the speed of light, remembered the pain and the feeling of being parylized. She remembered.
Madam_Mew_Mew
((umm, Evillion, would you please refrain from controling my charecter, thank you, godmoding is a petpeeve of mine))
"Thank you Leo" She said coldly waving to him to hurry with the bags.
"The library is to the left, and there is a television, and a number of DVDs in the other room, Leo if you wouldn't mind showing her room and bathroom?" She asked with a pretty and calculated toss of her head
EvilLion
((Sorry Madam_Mew_Mew I'm more use to writing stories then RP I'll remember not to control ur charecter. I hope you both can forgive me if I'm not that good at first but I'm sure I'll get better as the RP goes on.))

"Yes Mistress Lilith as you command" Leo said sheepishly. Bending down he picked up April's bags as if they weighed nothing. "If you will be so kind to fallow me young mistress April" he said. Leo started up the staircase stepping lightly and effortlessly. Stopping at the top of the staircase, Leo waited for April to ketch up.
NightSky
April found herself constantly falling behind, Leo having to stop and wait for her. She couldn't help but stop to look around at this amazing place, every detail completely foreign to everything she had known. Massive black glass, beaded chandeleres hanging from the ceiling in the center of each room, the staircase railing intricate with careful designs. She felt as if one could live here for years, and still have something new to discover every day. When they arrived at the top of the staircase, Leo continued down the long, dark hall to the right as she once again fell behind to examine the post at the end of the stair railing. It was carefully engraved with intricate designs that covered the entire thing, and when she looked closer, she saw that it was not only a design, but faces. Faces and bodies engraved into the post, all seeming to melt together to make one beautiful design. Not just bodies of people however, but creatures. People, fairies, vampires, dragons, even what looked like gnomes or trolls.

She lifted her head to look down the hall and saw that Leo had again stopped to wait for her. She quickly moved ahead to catch up, as she was lead down the long, narrow, dark hallway.
EvilLion
Leo waited for April to once again ketch up. Moving one of his new Mistresses bag under his upper arm, he grabbed a hold of the finally ingraved golden handle of the door. Twisting the door handle he swung the door open to allow his mistress to walk ahead of him into the large spacious room. He watched as April walked around the room, exploring her new suroundings. Leo set her bags on th bed, then turned toward April. "Your bathroom is in through that door" he said pointing to the left. For the first time Leo took this oppertunity to really look at his Mistress. He was amazed at her beauty and the innocent ora that seemed to radiate from ever fiber of her body. "If you wish Mistress April, I will unpack you later if you want me to show you around?" As soon as April turned to look at Leo, he lowered his eyes to the floor at her feet showing the respect dew to his new mistress.
NightSky
April had never been treated with such... adornment. She felt as if he were looking up to her, honoring her. She had never in her life felt so powerful, and even before she met Leo or learned Lilith's name, or drank from the now deceased Nathan whom she had nearly forgotten, even before that, she had felt an amazing sense of power the moment she had awoken as her new self. The bite marks on the side of her neck throbbing, she remembered the jolt of incincibility she had felt. And now, more than ever, she recognized it.

She owned him. It needed not be said, she knew she did. It scared her terribly, but also pleased her because not only did she own him, but now knowing this feeling, knew she could easily own any mortal she pleased... if Leo was, in fact, a mortal. "Yes, that would be..." her voice trailed off as she looked at her surroundings. She knew that a tour would not only be nice, but required as she was sure she would get lost even trying to find the stairs which she had just come from. "...fine, that would be fine." She forced a sweet smile, and when she did, felt her new fangs prick her lips as her lips peeled back over them in a grin. "Thank you", she continued smiling until he left the room.
Madam_Mew_Mew
Lillith smiled "Thank you Leo, I see you are adjusting wll my dear, there are clothes in the wardrobe, and if there is any little thing you require, ask me or Leo, and it shall be provided. Dinner is at 12, be late if you wish." She grinned as she headed tword her own room ringing for her maid as she went. The girl was petite with thick masses of wavy blonde hair and huge green eyes. She wore a short black dress reminiscent of the french maid costumes seen at halloween, only exquisitly made and detaild, she followed her misstress with a light step
"I have selcted your gown madam." She said in a russian acccent
EvilLion
Leo never shifted his eyes from the floor or answered Lillith, knowing she neither expected or cared to hear him. As long as he did as she commanded and showed her the her the proper respect, she would be satisfied.

Glancing up briefly, Leo for the first time saw his mistress April smile. Ketching April's eyes he quickly averted them downward, "I am sorry Mistress, I beg your forgivness" he wispered in shame. "You may punish me in any way you see fit" he said.
NightSky
April, who had no idea why he felt he needed to apologize, quickly started, "Oh no, don't apologize..." her voice trailed off when she saw that he fully expected some sort of punishment, as if he had done some terrible thing. She looked up at Lilith, and saw that Lilith also expected him to be punished somehow. Maybe scolded or cursed at, though April had a hard time imagining Lilith yell... she hadn't raised her voice even once, the entire time they'd known each other.

Lilith finally approached Leo, and bent down a bit so she could look into his eyes. "If you do have to do what I say... then I would like you to look at me when you speak to me", she smiled. He looked up at her, shocked, and slowly raised his head as if he weren't sure it was really alright. He looked to Lilith as if asking her permission, and she nodded approvingly. "And call me April", she finished.
EvilLion
Leo looked to Lillith then back to April as if they both was pulling a joke on him. He expected them both to start laughing but he looked straight into April deep eyes and saw that she was seriouse. "Mistress April I am not worthy to look at you in the face let alone to call You by your given name. My father was not allowed to call Mistress Lillith by her name untill they was mated"
NightSky
"But I would really like you to. It's uncomfortable, being called anything but my own name. Please?" April did not await his answer, only looked into his eyes and saw that he understood. She turned her back to him and went to the large bed, where she let herself collapse. This is my new home, she thought. It really is. And somehow, she didn't really mind. She had lived more in the last twenty-four hours than she had over the course of her entire life. She heard Lilith and Leo begin to leave the room, when she called out, "Lilith?"
Madam_Mew_Mew
Lillith turnd, the maid also turnd, a mirrior of her mistress's movments
"What is it my dear?" Said Lillith maternally "Do you require something, or do you have a question?" The maid had moved back as if to allow her misstress's very voice room. Lillith looked gently at her charge, her violet eyes were soft and welcoming an uncommen sight as most people of Skeleton's Closet would have known.

Leo stopped almost in mid stride straining to hear what April was going to ask. Leo knew it had to be a question by the tone of April voice, that and nobody has ever demanded anything from his mistress Lillith.
NightSky
"...does the sun ever come out, here?" She almost felt silly asking such a question, of course the sun came out here. But at the same time, she had already witnessed all other things that never seemed possible. And something about it all made it seem as if this place couldn't exist in the light. On the other hand, maybe it could. A long silence extended after her question, and April began to think Lilith wasn't going to answer...
Madam_Mew_Mew
"Yes and no, in most parts of the city the sun comes out, it still remains grey and foggy, we never have a clear day here, except in the western desert, but in certain area we have eternal night for example above snake eyes, and above this house the sun rarely if ever makes an apperence"

Leo walks to his small plain room across from Aprils. Sitting at his desk he starts writing in his journal. Today Mistress April arived and I was givin to her(much to my releif). I was afraid I would be given to one of the other charges. Most of the other charges treat their slaves like well slaves, beating them and torturing them terrably. Somehow I don't think Mistress April is like that, in fact just a few moments ago she gave me permission to look her in the eye and call her April. Never have I been so pleased to be somebodys slave. Irronic isn't, it only a few nights ago I dreamed of being free. Now I can't wait to serve her in any capacity she may want. Do I dare to dream that she may someday chosse me as her mate.

I have never seen a more beautiful creature in my life.

Leo closes his journal and leans back against the chair and dares to dream.

April nodded to Lilith, understanding what she was saying. She smiled, until Lilith left the room. The moment she was gone, April released a long sigh of relief and exhaustion. She looked around the room and noticed for the first time how big and how beautiful this place really was. The opposite wall from where the door was was completely taken up by a large window, heavy velvet drapes covering. She went to the window and pulled the drapes back to either side, to reveal a massive and AMAZING view. She looked out the window, to see thick fog, a glowing moon, bare trees, the street below bustling with activity, the sky filled with dragons and fairies and a million other creatures not mentioned even in the craziest fairy tales.

April had always loved reading "Alice In Wonderland", it had been her favorite book since she was a child... and now, she had finally reached Wonderland.

Leo herd Mistress Lillith and her maid walk past his room. Actually in truth he herd the made shoes slidding over the carpet of the hall. Mistress Lillith never made a noise when she walked, it was as if her feet never touched the ground. He remember as a child staring at her feet for hours to see if the ever touched the ground. he practeced for years to learn how to walk silently. Little by little he had mastered the technique untill now he never relizes hes even doing it.

Getting up out of his plain foldeing chair, Leo sighs and arches hi back to work out the kink he always gets from the chair.

Walking silently he knocks on Mistress April's door.."Mistress are you ready for your tour"
NightSky
When Leo had offered the tour, April had assumed it would be much later, possibly after dinner which wouldn't begin for at least another hour if time, in fact, traveled here the same as in the mortal world. "No, umm... Well wait right there, I'm coming!" she called, feeling that yelling to him through the door would be somewhat inappropriately informal in such a place as this. She stumbled when she turned, finally making her way to the bedroom door which she opened only slightly enough to poke her head through. He stood there patiently, his face expressionless. "Umm... I would like to get settled in, first. It's been a long long night, I was thinking that maybe I would just rest until dinner. And I'd love to take the tour right after, if you don't mind." She awaited his reply, looking into his pale blue eyes which obviously had much complexity and history behind them.
