What exactly is psi energy? How is it obtained, and what does it do? How does it directly relate to vampirism?

Reading some posts about psi energy reminded me of the novel "Insomnia", by Stephen King. If anyone here has read it, could you tell me if psi energy is similar to the energy taken in the novel? Thanks!

Psi energy, very simply put, is your lifeforce energy.

I'm sure some other people could elaborate more, but that's basically it.

Psi (Psyhic) Energy; is energy that can be derived from the core of a source; this includes but is not limited to Pranic energy, Kulundali Energy, elemental energy and life force energy.

It can be gathered from an aray of sources depending ont he type but is normally derived from humans and is obtained by the pure will of a psi feeder.

No, through your post and others posted by energy vamps, I think I pretty much understand. Thank you for your posts, its been a big help! I knew pretty much everything there is to know about vamps that feed on blood, but found that I didn't know much of anything about energy vamps. Thanks again!

Psi vamps feed off of energy. They are also called pranic vamps or energy vamps. They can either consciously or unconsciously feed from the physic energy from those around them causing those they feed from to feel drained and tired. The ones who don't know they are feeding are the ones you have to watch out for. They mean no harm but they can't help themselves until they realize what they are doing and learn to control it. Conscious feeders know how to feed usually or can be taught more easily, and are able to more readily control their feedings. Psi vamps usually are sensitive to light, and are more nocturnal, and have a heightened awareness to energy. They also thirst for energy when it is time for them to feed. Some feed off of emotion. When a psi vamp feeds, the one they feed off of usually becomes tired afterwards.. I hope this helps...
