I am a new member, and through reading a lot of the posts, I have noticed a lot of mention of blood being hard to find. I was surprised by this, since I have always found it extremely easy to get. I suppose it could be because I happen to know most of the vampiric groups in my town, and there are so many people that beg to be fed off of!
I, myself, have been able to feed at least once every other day, often every day!

If you happen to be one of these people that finds blood very hard to get a hold of, please post why it is that it's so difficult to get it. I'm curious! And maybe some of you could post some suggestions for everyone, for ways to get their hands on some blood. (Please don't list things like animal or cold blood, I'm pretty sure we all know how to get cold blood pretty easily, and it doesn't have nearly the same affect as fresh blood.)

My suggestion is to find people in your area with similar interests, who enjoy feeding and being fed off of. It's an unlimited source of fresh blood, and I have never had to go without for very long at all.

Feeding off others does have its dangers, but I think that AIDS is the least of them. I'm no doctor, but I think to contract AIDS, the diseased DNA needs to be introduced into your blood stream. This could happen through sexual intercourse, or if the diseased blood were to get into an open cut or wound. I'm not sure if ingesting it would be a way of getting AIDS, but you might want to ask a professional about that. The more common dangers are things like infection, you need to take all the appropiate precautions to make sure the wound is clean, and be sure that you know the person well enough to know that they don't have a disease you could catch.

There's dangers in everything, especially the best things in life, so it all depends on what's worth it to you. If you are not a person who necessarily wants or needs to feed, then maybe the dangers wouldn't be worth it for you.

Wow, I just find is so surprising that it's so hard to find, considering how many people there are like us, everywhere. Almost every city or town has people who would be more than willing to be fed off of, and finding even just one or two could set you up for regular feeding for a very long time. Good luck, and thanks for posting!

WOAH!!! slow down there, you can definately get aids from drinking blood. blood absorbs into your skin VERY easy, and INTO YOUR BLOODSTREAM. ever got blood on you that had a chance to soak in? you know how sometimes it takes DAYS to get your hands from being red? thats why........

if you care enough about yourself, and you're unsure about someone, do the safe thing and don't drink..... i'm sure that most people would rather go without blood for a few days or so than contract HIV

Thank you for correcting me on that point! That's very good to know, and important for all of us to keep in mind. Thanks for the info, I've learned something.

Is your boyfriend aware that you feed on blood at all? Are you worried about telling him alltogether, or just about asking him to feed off him? There is no easy answer to this question, because the way people will react to things (especially these kinds of things) is very unpredictable. You could try to explain to him how you feel about it, and convince him to just try it once. If he says no, it doesn't mean he doesn't care about you, it only means that he isn't interested in this lifestyle. And that's fine.

I hope I've helped, good luck!

I have only fed off of a person once, But about once a month I have a fix of my own blood. Have you ever seen blood in the moonlight? it appears quite black.
Vanez Blane
When i drink, i set my mind to it. I do not wish to die because of lack of blood. There is a block of flats and there is always a window open when i need to drink. I make small cuts in the humans leg will it sleeps and drink enough to keep me going for a day.

So then I'm guessing you feed on blood purely for the taste and nothing more, if you can be satisfied by feeding off yourself?

[COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue][FONT=Arial][B]Well when you live in a very small town where you are pretty much the only vamp and you are considered the town freek. It becomes hard to get and the animal blood I can get easily but I'm not really into that.
