Please tell me everything you know or have ever heard about the Children of Darkness. I am literally dying to know and must have as much knowledge about them as I possibly can. Enlighten me!

I'd suggest you specify a bit...or look around the board at the existing threads. This is a rather broad topic, I'm sure most don't know where to start.

*blushes slightly* Yes, I know, I feel so stupid about all of this, and there is so much to know. It is just that I have so little knowledge of vampires; the only thing I have based this knowledge off of are the Anne Rice books, and I do not know how accurate these can really be. I suppose I should have just looked around a little more before I posted, but I will learn.

That's ok, you're far from the first to use this approach, and I doubt anyone will hold it against you. :)

Anne Rice vampires are a breed of their own, more homoerotic than most stereotypes, in my personal opinion, at least. But then again I'm not a big fan.

Perhaps I should narrow down the topic to "do vampires exist?" Are they real, or are they just living beings pretending to be the undead? Are there actual undead beings out there? What is the REAL truth?

I suggest you read arround for a while then u'll get the basic knowledge of what ur trying to understand so u can post more specific questions

In addition to what Clear said about asking questions and what Escoban said about reading around, feel free to draw your own conclusions based on logic.

Vampires are surrounded by many misconceptions and it will be nice if you are specific. If you'd like to discuss Anne Rice's books and what her concept of the vampire in that's fine and if you'd actually like to gain knowledge on present day Vampirism then that's good as well. I think the reason why there has been no response was the lack of the direct questions.

There are some in this forum who will claim to be a vampire. Personnally, I just think they're being stupid and making themselves (who are usually fairly intelligent) look like a child pretnding to be a superhero. It's a fantasy. Who wouldn't want to be immortal, have power over others and live life as you choose, be free from the reigns of society.
