hello all. I was wondering if anyone was interested in joining an RP that centered around the Chinese Zodiac. It will be based veeeery loosely off the Fruits Basket anime series, if any of you have read the series; but you don't have to have read the anime to participate in this RP. The idea I will be borrowing from Fruits Basket is that there are twelve people (not related in this case) who have the ability to change into a specific animal from the Zodia when they are hugged by a member of the opposite sex or when they are very weak. Also, they have a gift for communicating with the animal which they can transform into and show many of the traits of their particular animal in their human form. For those who may be unaccustomed with the Zodiac animals and their traits, here they are:

Rat
-imaginative, ambitious, generous to loved ones
-hot-tempered

Cow
-inspiring, conservative, natural born leaders
-stubborn, unyielding personality

Rabbit
- affectionate, pleasant, talented
- too sentimental, avoids conflict

Dragon
- intelligent, enthusiastic, softhearted
- bossy, loud

Snake
- romantic, clever, beautiful
- vain, procrastinators

Horse
- cunning, adventurous, cheerful
-impatient, selfish

Sheep
-creative, honest, passionate
- disorganized, timid

Monkey
- inventive, entertaining, magnetic personality
- distrusting, untrusting

Rooster
- courageous, hardworking, skilled
- arrogant, selfish

Dog
- honest, generous, faithful
- quiet, cynical

Tiger
- courageous, unpredictable, loving
-overly aggressive, highly emotional

Basically, this thread will involve at least twelve people (myself included!)-- I hope to get enough people for, hopefully, every Zodiac animal to be played by someone (and maybe some human characters too!)

I really need ideas for plot......... but I have my own ideas of it being connected with Nature and, in general, saving the environment. If anybody has some good ones, please do share!

Of course, Defealio. If you would like to join this particular story, then you could pick an animal from the Zodiac that hasn't already been picked and write a character bio for him/her, or you could just write a character bio for any other character (I would like just humans and these Zodiac "creatures", but I am open to other creatures as well.). Welcome to the forum, and I hope you have a lot of fun when this RP finally opens up.

We have four players willing to participate, but I would really like for there to be a person playing for every Zodiac animal. Feel free to invite everyone on the forum who you think would be interested in this RP!
