What does that have to do with the movie?
Movie looks like a case of "if you liked House of 1000 Corpses (which I did) then you'll like this"

I never thought he'd do it ...but he did..Rob Zombie has made the sequel to House Of 1000 Courpes. It should be out later this year...The plot is that Bounty hunters are after the Firefly family.. i'm interested to see how freaky he gets with this one...

The first movie was amazingly, incredibly,..dull. This one seems to be on the same track. He needs to do what he does best. Nothing. Like that period of time when he wasn't making bad music and wasn't working on bad movies.

I rather liked House of 1000 Corpses, though I've seen smarties scarier than this movie, but I liked all the regurgitated snippets of B-grade horrors. I don't know that I'd be interested in a sequel to it though.

I thought it kicked ass. I mean... it had the atmosphere that a good horror movie is supposed to have... tension. Lots of tension. And creepy stuff. It was just one of those strange, unsettleing movies. I look foreward to the sequel...

I liked the first one, it was meant to be like 70's horror B movie and I think he did a great job of it. I liked it way better than Dee Sniders Strangeland. Talk about someone who should stay away from movies and music. :/

I thought the first one rocked, it was an entertaining little acid trip that you kids are probably just a little too young and naive to get.
OK, that's enough being condescending to defend my own weird tastes. Apparently this one's gonne be a lot more low-key and brutal, he wants it to play out like events that could in theory happen, rather than all out weirdo fantasy...

A sequel to house of 1000 corpses is due to be released in late July..... I can't wait. The Devil's Rejects sees the psychotic duo Captain Spaulding and Otis Driftwood make a return to the big screen.
Heres the plot:
After a bloody showdown at their home, the murderous Firefly family goes on the lam. With their story all over the news, they continue their killing spree, while Sheriff John Wydell, hell-bent on avenging his brother's murder, tracks them down for one last horrifying confrontation.
I only hope that Rob Zombie can maintain the sadistic yet humorous edge that was present in his first film.

I read of someone who claims to have had a screening of it. He said it was good, that it was much better than 1000 Corpses. The characters are more believable and more fleshed out. It seems less of a horror movie and more of an intensified violent road trip across the country. Don't know how much truth the person is telling, but I thought I'd pass it along.

Less than 24 hours until July 22nd and The Devils Rejects arrive.
This would be Rob Zombie's follow up to House of 1000 Corpses.
I have tickets for the midnight show.
My friend at the cineplex hooked me up with a Last Supper Easel display. It's currently in a corner of my living room - sheesh it's huge - I may have to take it off it's original stand.
I'll take a pic of it later this weekend when I can move some furniture around, ha ha... this is what it looks like.

*** MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS ***
The Devil's Rejects is actually House of 1000 Corpses part 2.
In House of 1000 Corpses we were introduced to the Firefly family who are a family of pretty sick serial killers. They have victims lured to their farmhouse by stories given to travelers by Captain Spaulding, a guy dressed like a clown at a roadside 'gas and chicken' attraction. He tells the story of a local legend 'Dr. Satan', who's hanging tree is on the Firefly property.
Anyways, the Firefly's kill several people in part 1, including a law enforcement officer by the last name of Widell.
Devil's Rejects tells the story of Sheriff Widell out to avenge the death of his brother at the hands of the wicked Firefly's. He recruits some bounty hunters along the way and goes way beyond the boundaries of the law in search of vigilante justice.
In the opening scene, the police surround the Firefly farmhouse and there is a quick but ferocious shootout...Otis and Baby escape and are driven out of their safe haven, thus a very violent, brutal roadtrip begins. They are joined by Captain Spaulding as his connection to the family is revealed when the police go through scrapbooks and journals at the Firefly home. Over 70 murders are documented in the scrapbooks, human heads and skulls are used as ornaments, body parts are stuffed in refrigerators, decomposing bodies found in a mass grave in the basement, etc...
That is the basics of the movie and the tie between parts 1 and 2.
It's a roadtrip of serial killers on the run from the lawless law.... and what happens to everyone in their path.
Definately give House of 1000 Corpses a viewing before going to see Devil's Rejects - although it is a stand-alone movie, it's much better understood by seeing part 1 first.
To say much more would give too much away.
There is plenty of backstory to read on their official website www.thedevilsrejects.com and you can even join the official fan club by clicking the banner below.
