You shouldn't have difficulty finding their album anywhere, they're a fairly popular band. I'd try target first, they tend to be less expensive.

i dunno about target being cheaper. They might also only carry the censored version. I get my cds cheap at BestBuy. The new Coheed and Cambria cd is only $7 at BestBuy right now, so Motograter might be somewhere around that price.

Target never carries censored CDs.
I couldn't tell you what the Motograter album costs there, because I don't like that kind of music enough to buy. However, my experience has always been that Best Buy is more expensive than Target.
Also, the reason Coheed and Cambria is so cheap is because it's utter shit.

I disagree. Best Buy has always been cheaper when I buy there, and CoCa isnt utter shit. But I will look into the cost of Motograter, and you can look into the cost of Motograter at Target. I very well could be wrong, but i dont think i am.

No nu-metal album will ever be fully worth it's money.

Nu-metal, old metal, death metal, polka, reggae, rock, ska, a guy sitting in a bush hitting logs with a dead squirrel, etc etc. I dont listen to what I do because of its genre. I listen to it because I like the sound. Motograter being one of the few bands that I can honestly say I like more then three songs on their album and that in my eyes makes it worth every dime.

that was a dumb comment. Nu-metal? At some point in time, all metal bands are "Nu".

I did listen to some of that, and while it's not bad, I wouldn't spend any money on them.

Right...
but I don't like nu-metal I just don't, in my personal opinion it blows beyond all comparison.

Hardly, to quote one of my favorite movies: I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Nu-metal is a genre, not a measure of how long the group has been out.

how in the hell is it a genre? That doesnt make any sense. Its metal, pure and simple.

Hell for that matter do you even know what metal is?

Are you crazy? There is a huge difference between Metal and Nu-Metal....the big one is alot of Nu-Metal tends to suck.....that's about it.
*Edit from Bahamut, I didn't wanna write a whole new post and I know Blood won't mind*
Not to mention that Nu-metal tends to be more about angst and screaming, also it has a lot of hip-hop influences.
Metal guitarists also don't tend to play traditional metal style.
Sweet! I got edited! YEAH!

Nu-Metal: There is immense argument over what exactly this genre constitutes, and thusly it is one of the hardest to define but basically as I see it it’s a combination of rock’s structures with those of Metal but always containing another influence. I like to express this as Rock + Metal + X Factor = Nu Metal. For example Mudvayne have a Thrash and Funk influence, Slipknot have a Grind influence and Static-X have an Industrial influence. Other common traits of Nu Metal include: low technicality, mid tempos, lack of solos, drop d tunings, simple power chord riffs, all purpose drum beats and angsty lyrical content. Korn, Slipknot, American Head Charge and Static-X are all good examples of Nu Metal.
