and as for johnathan davis (korn) what i like about his singing is that he puts such real emotion into his singing. in some of the korn doco's ive watched in quite a few songs he just collapses and screams and bawls into the mic. and the whole band emerge from the studio in tears. thats some real fuckin emotion there. listen to daddy (i think it is that one) and youll see what i mean. but i still think mikael arkerfeldt owns over all.

Especially Phil with Pantera, on the album Cowboy's From Hell. And its Maynard James Keenan (Tool and APC frontman, you said you didn't know his last name) Devin Townsend is cool with Strapping Young Lad. He can do good screaming as well as sing very powerfully.
Trent is cool, I love NIN... but he's not as powerful as some of those singers I listed above.

Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Johnathon Davis, and some others... just can't think today

tessaG - definitley check out some opeth stuff. youll see why i picked mikael. he has got the best death metal voice ever and his clean vocals are absolutly perfect. i cant really describe it just get some opeth songs and youll see what i mean some good songs to get are

Yeah I've checked out some Opeth stuff... and I have all the SYL albums... but Devin Townsend also does a lot of side work... I ought to check those out more.
