I was attempting to derive my own definition of Vampire, when i realized something. It is possible to be psychosymatically blind, where you go blind because your brain tells you you are blind.. Is it possible that there are humans that are psychosymatic vampires, where they are vampires because their brain tells them that they are a vampire, and thus could be extreme as death in sunlight, and needing blood. This does not mean that these people are psycho. is there a classification for these types of vampires? I do not mean human living vampires, those that get sexual pleasure out of blood.. Thanks

I know a few people that were made a Vamp , and that didnt want it , and still didnt know what they were...
I know one person that was rapped by a vamp , turned and left there , she has no idea that he was vamp or that she had been turned.

(yes this is kind of off topic but I'll get back on in a moment)
Dead^Soul... I think honestly... that dose happen a lot to humans... it really is a horrible way to be turned.
I bet you if you talk to a lot of vampires who were turned against their will, about half or a fourth were also sexualy assulted diring, before or after they were turned.
(ok, back on to topic)
Well, there are people out there that are not vampire and have vampiric traits... in a group of people I know (who are vampire or vampyr) call them vampiric sympathizers, and honestly... they really do anoy the rest of the vampiric race, because they are fake, and a lot of them have an ego for beleiving they are vampire. But now a days, not even auras can tell you if someone is vampire or not... so you really don't know who is a vampire intil you yourself are turned.

as a vampire myself i would like to say hello. The darkness is very appealing to me but the light i must go through. Drinking the blood is a great thing to do. it's the only thing that truly quinces your thirst. The sight of seeing others suffer, all of the innocent people that come to ruin. I do not lie of these things for i am not a lier. only the true ones of our kind know the truth of life. and with that i must go.

hello all, in all honesty, all vampires are in one way or another psychosymatic. the idea that blood, a rather complex but simple collection of cells and water, could sustain you for any amount of time, that is if you dont puke first, in order for a person to live they must comsume about 1000 to 1500 calories, and thats if you are just walking, not doing anything, then it shoots higher. and while the mind can develop welts while under hypnosis the idea that one could burst into flames and die while in sunlight is to say the very least a streach. one would slip into a self induced coma, and any "powers" shown by this vampire are again only conected to a fractured mind, much like delusions of graduer.

Guys, please try to stay on topic here...quastions about avatars can be brought to pm, instead if disturbing the thread...
On topic...as some are probably already aware of, I firmly believe that any vampiric traits are in the mind only, you wish so strongly to be different, dangerous, like the overly romanticized vampires...so you look for vampiric traits in yourself, and the harder you look, the stronger you wish, the more likely you are to find something. The world wants to be decieved...

Ok, so in this case of sympa's how can you tell the difference between a sympa, and a regular vampire? Is there any difference?
