Blood Moon


The moon laid upon the velvet clouds, hanging from the sky. You could see the rope hanging from the heavens. A howl was heard across the land. Not a howl of a normal mutt, but of the beast of the full moon. And it was now, September. The most dangerous month. The most dangerous full moon. Blood moon. People in the city streets, looked to the atmosphere. Those who lived there, scattered for their human lives, but those who didn't, carried on, not knowing the tremendous danger they were putting themselves in. The beast hugged the roads, running towards the city. Hunting for its prey. Hunting for its dinner. For the scent. She spotted a young woman, in her car. Her head moving back and forth, headbanging to the music. Her sharp movements just made the bloodlust stronger. She was eager to taste her. To kill her. She sped up, running full force towards the car. The woman did not see her, until it was too late. Her screams filled human ears, telling them the beast was out, and that they had another body to discard. They would have a lot more by morning.

The sun filled the horizon with blues, pinks, and purples, but the moon filled the horizon with death, and blood all around. The people knew what did this, they knew who did this. But they would not speak of her, her name was evil, along with her body, her soul.

Blood stained the city streets, roaming along with the puddles of rain, dripping from the heavens. The humans god was crying for them, for thats all he could do. He could not save them, no one could. Nothing could stop her, not even their gods, or hers.

*A young human girl dashes down a corner, her long dark brown hair flying behind her. She raises her hand up catching a bar as the strange beast darts past her. The beast snarls in anger and sids to a stop turning to charge back at her. She smirks and brings herself back down her feet connecting with the beasts chest, sending it flying back*
~I don't think so you mangled mutt!~*She mutters and quickly climbs up the bars slipping into a opened window.*
~That...was too close...~*She mummers, her light brown eyes glancing around the room. She heads out the door and down the apartment stairs, dashing across the street. A door opens as she slides in then slams back shut, she stands and bolts the locks letting out a sigh of relif*

The beasts roars with anger, and jumps over the house. She smells something. A human. Her feast. She jumped down from the rooftop, and began to chase him.
"Run, you fucker." She thought, as she jumped on him and tore out his jugular.

"Bitch!" She heard someone yell. She looked up, and saw a net coming towards her.

Her fur quickly turned to skin, as she fell to the ground. "Get this off me you fuckers!" She screamed, trying to get out.
They kicked her 'til she fell unconscious. She woke by the lake, with no one near.

OOC - I know I'm a newbie so bear with me, hope ur ok with me joining in!

In her human form, Elyssias felt much less confident, but somehow more joyful. Sometimes if she pretended hard enough she could re live those last few nights before Alhandra turned her.
Dancing and skipping through the undergrowth, she began to run towards where she knew the lake lay, her nostrils full of the moist scent of the night, her heart singing.
As she neared the lake she slowed, scent of another close to her. Elyssias stopped, nostrils quivering, her body shaking with anticipation. She had never met another of her kind before, only Alhandra, and his death had left her alone and ill educated in the ways of their kind, whatever they were...
She pauses, scenting the air still, creeping forward to try and gain a closer look at whatever it was she could smell without infringing on personal space. She rustles a little, making her presence known discreetly and steps into the moonlight, blue eyes faintly luminescent in the gloom...

*She stretches a bit as she walks up the lavished oak stair case that leds to the upper rooms. Her small grey kitten darts past and heads down the stairs, her eyes watching him as he darts along. She smiles and pushes a door open, her room and heads to the bathroom starting up the shower*
~Stupid mutts...they never learn..~*She mutters, though she was human, she possed some strange power*

She looked around and saw that there was others, tears fell from her eyes. She knew what they were going to do. But they did not see the other, they did not sense her either, but she did. She made herself fall unconscious. She also made her heartbeat get so faint, the stupid humans would think she was dead. The stupid humans, they fell for it, taking the net off her, and throwing the "dead body" into the lake.
"didn't they learn from last time?" She asked herself. When they were all gone to find another of her kind, she jumped out of the lake and walked towards the shadows.

"I know you are here. I can smell you, in your human form." Another stepped out. She could tell she was young. Her eyes told her a story she did not want to hear, or see. "I am Gwen.." She put out her hand to help the other up. "Yours?"

Gwen could tell she was scared.. She was young, maybe 2 or 3 days. She was a damn pup. And she was already in danger that full grown wolves have to face. Gwen saw the blood on her back.
"Oh, poor pup." She voiced.
She, again, put her hand out for her to grab. She looked at her again, trying to find out what exactly happened. But she couldn't figure it out. It was too brutal. She wanted to help her, but she couldn't if she didnt want her help.
Then the thought jumped into her mind. Was this my victim from a few nights ago? Maybe thats why she is so scared.
"I'm not here to harm you.." She told her.

*The girl slips off her dirty clothes and slides into the shower. An hour seems to past before she steps back out. Now it was hunting time, that beast had pissed her off. She walks briskly to the closet and selects an all black attire, to help hide her more efficently. Dashing back down the stairs, she heads to the kitchen, opening a special drawer filled with tranq darts and silver daggers. She takes a black holster for the three daggers and the gun, slipping them into the hostler as she wraps it around her thigh.
*As she heads out the front door, she snagged up a long black cape putting it on as she walked out shutting the door behind her*

Gwen found a scent. The one she was chasing. The one. "You are in danger here. Now come with me, if you want to still be alive by morning." She told her.

*She glances around the darkned streets, some of the beasts scattering as she came into view others quickly dissappering*
~Hmm...~*She mutters something under her breath and walked where her insticts took her, not knowing what may lay ahead*

Gwen could smell the scent getting closer. "Are you going to come with me or not? We need to go now or we will die." Gwen outreached her hand, but it was too late. She was already there. The hunter, the killer of the wolves. Sweat poured from the young ones temple, she knew who it was. She knew what it was.
"Get the fuck away from me.." Gwen yelled, turning back into a wolf and throwing out her claws. She knew she was ready for a fight. She might die, but it was worth saving a young ones life. It was worth dying for the new generation.

As the huntress approached, the one the eveyone scattered away from, Gwen could only think of one thing to do. To kill.
Gwen turned back with in her eyes and a howl was surrendered up to the moon. Gwen grabbed ahold of her shoulder and through her into the forest behind her. Gwen knew this wouldn't kill her, like Gwen, nothing could.
Gwen grabbed the young ones paw and ran into the night, leaving nothing but wind and the huntress behind.
Gwen liked the taste of her blood. Maybe she would soon get another bite.

*She flew back a bit, unexpecting to see two for them. A slight cry of pain emits as she crashes to the ground, landing on her side to skid back. She blacks out for a moment before quickly waking, pushing herself up with her hands*
~The hell..~*She mutters and turns to see they have gone*
~Damn it...~*She seeths as she stands upright, seeing one beast brave enough to stand up to her stand foward. He was in his human form for the moment but not much longer*
~You will not past...~*He snaps his fangs at her charging at her*
~Shit..~*She takes a step back, whipping out one of her daggers. As she looks up he is infront of her, slamming her back into the tree behind her*
*She lets out another cry as he forcefully pushes her against the tree, holding her hands to her sides. He bares hsi fangs and goes for her neck. She quickly turns her head to the side as he snaps at air and brings her knee up hard, hitting him in the gut as he falls over*

"ARMAND! NO!!!!" Gwen screams, seeing her lover attack the hunter that tried to attack her.

*She gently rubs her back, from the force he had slammed her back she was surpised he didnt break her back. He snaps again and leaps to his feet as she brings her dagger at him. His hand wraps around her wrist as she slashed at him. She starts to panic and tries to jerk herself free as he spins her pinning her againt him*
Let go of me, let go!!*He bends her wrist harshly as she drops the dagger, then pins her hand back in place* Foolish mortal..*He seeths in ear, lower his fangs to her throat as she starts to scream and trash about* Let go of me!!!

He snaps at her ear and she freezes, tears starting to slide down her cheeks*Shut up and stay still, or I will kill you here and now..*He sneers bringing his arm to tilt her head back so she could see his face* I will snap your neck which would be a shame...*He then looks up and calls out to his love* I am here and have caught the girl come see!*He then lashes out with his leg, making the girl drop as he sinks his faths deep into her throat, her screams echoing the forest which brings a cruel smile to his lips as he begins to feed from her*

Gwen runs back to Armand with the young one behind her. "We must go.. We have to go now!" She grabbed his hand, and pulled him in the direction. "Go!" She yelled. She knew that this was not good. He just killed another. Fuck, she thought. Now we have to move once more.

OOC:Hey vamp would you mind taking over the role of your love, I am going to bring another char in. I will post one more for the guy then you can take over ^^;

*He growls lightly and drops the girl as he was drug away.The girl shakes lightly, her long hair covering her now pale face. She whispers a name quietly as her head falls to the side. He sneers once more at the girls supposed dead body and takes off in the direction with his love*

~Serena!!!~*A voice is hear calling in the forest as they trio take off, dissappering deep into the forest. As the girl lays there uncoscience, her breathing ragged and very slow. A young man with long black hair and silverish eyes comes darting through the forest.*~Serena!~*He pants as he skids to a stop, falling to his knees next to her*
~Serena please wake up!~*He whispers and gently takes her face into his hand moving her head to the side to see the marks*~Damn it!!~*He seeths quietly and lowers his ear to her mouth, hearing her slow breathing*
~My god shes alive..~*He lifts her into his arms as she lays limp and shouts at the top of his lung*~IF I FIND YOU< YOU DAMN MUTT I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD!!!!!~*He looks down at his love as tears brim to his eyes and he turns running at his full vampiric speed , back to his and her home*

Gwen, Armand, and the young one ran with full speed. Gwen knew they were all in danger now, even though the hunter attacked first. No dog, as they called them, could attack a human. She constantly ran without looking back. She could still sense Armand, but she could no longer sense the young one. She was in trouble. As they got into their safe house, Gwen took a look at Armand.
"Are you okay?" She asked him. He quickly gave a yes. She paced around the room with her hand on her misty forhead. "What are we going to do? They know who we are, and they know where we live, well for now. They will come for me again, and if they find you, they will kill you.. You can not go out in your wolf or vampire skin. Neither can I. We can not feed. We need to make sure all is right.."
Armand looked to her. He was still furious with the huntress. "God, I wanted to kill her. Why did you not let me?"
"You know why.." She yelled back. "Serena, as you know, is the one that leads us in the years later. She will help us, but this will not happen if you attack her or her followers again. Why do you think I tried not to attack her?"
Armand knew she was right. What if she didn't want to do it now. They didn't know if she know, but all the wolves did.

*As he kicked the door open he shouted for a young boy by the name of Lane.* ~ A young boy around the age five ofr six comes darting down the stairs.*
~Mummy?~ *The boy whispers, looking to his father quietly*
~Whats wrong with mummy?*He inquires as the girls eys open partially as she looks up at her love, Baine.*
~Baine...~*She whispers quetily as he sets her on the couch his eyes a menacing red with anger*
~Go fetch some hot water and bandages~*He snaps at the young who darts off to get the supplys. Serena gently raises her hand to brush the few strands of hair that lay across her face, as she watched him quietly. He was furious and filled with concern, as he knelt beside her waiting for lane to bring their things*

It was now daylight, time to go find this huntress, make sure she doesn't notice her, and make sure she is alright.
She looked to Armand. "I will be right back. Stay here. We don't need to be hunted down, again.." She said as she slammed the door behind her. She might be at the hospital, she thought to herself. Or, maybe she's in the underground clinic. Shit. There is no way I can down there. They'll know me as soon as I step onto the land.[I] She stepped onto the sidewalk. I

*She had passed out onc more as her son brought the bandages and water. Baine slowly cleaned her wounds, his eyes burning in anger. He then wraps her wound gently and stands leaving her where she was for he did not want to move her.*
~Daylight...~*Baine whispers and picks his son up, who was half vampire and half human but still slumbered durning the morning. So she was left on her couch, her skin a ghastly palish color. Her face twitches in discomfort as her now tinted blue/greenish eyes open. She slowly sits up bringing her hand to her forehead, the other on the side of her throat*
~Armand...~*She whispers, knowing now his name. Her form slowly stands as she dashes her room taking a quick but sterile shower. She leaves the shower and dress in a all sky blue attire, before she exits the house. Her long brownish hair falls against her pale cheeks as she looks down the streets, silent the whole time*

Gwen stepped out onto the grey asphalt with the worries still in her head. She had to find her. She had to. I hope she is okay. She kept her head down, not knowing where she was going, or why.
She turned around for a minute, and accidentally bumped into something. "Oops, I am so sorry," She said helping the woman up. She brought her up, grabbing her by the arm. "Are you okay?" She said, moving the dark hair out of her face.
She looked into her eyes. Serena.. Gwen slowly backed away, with tremors slipping into her system. "I am so sorry," she squeaked. "I am so sorry for what Armand did to you.." Before Serena could say anything, Gwen ran back into the house. She didn't know if Serena got all of that, but she hoped she did.

*She was walking, lost in thought, not really paying attetion like she should have been. Before she could react she was bumped into and then pulled back up*~No No..I'm fine..~*She had dust herself off before she looked up, seeing the girl again*~You...~*She trembles lightly, before she could say anything she was gone. Her eyes lower to the ground as she looks around again, sliding her hands behind her as she wandered to the forest, hoping to find any clues*

when Gwen got back to the apartment, Armand was no where to be found. "Fuck!" She screamed, throwing her jacket into the room. She locked the door back, and ran into the forest. She knew he was in there, she could smell him. She also knew that Serene was in there. "Damnit Armand. You're gona get us killed."

"Meow,"said Gwen's shadow, looking distinctly cat-shaped.

ooc: if you don't like this, i'll go away or something...

Gwen looked to her shadow. "Shadae, please. Go away, I'm trying to do soemthing to save our kind. Unless you wanna help me, go find Armand."

*After a while she stops walking, standing in a bundle of trees leaning on the closest one. Her long hair splls gently across her face as she is lost in her own thoughts, her hands resting gently at her sides. She closes her eyes as she leans on the more, sighing softly as she thought of what to do. She knew...when Baine awakened...anything in his way would be slaughtered, he ment revenge. Her hands shake lightly at the thought of in him rage, he was a monster when he was angry and nothing could stop him. She opens her eyes as she turns her gaze to the sky, thinking and thinking of what to do*

ooc: what did you call me? i'm a bit confused, but whatever
ic: The shadow detatches itself from the woman's actual shadow and speeds off, presumably to find Armand.

ooc: Sorry, I'm back. I've been working 4-11pm, and I'm kinda tired all the time.. Sorry...

IC: "Armand! Armand! Get the fuck back here.." She said, pointing to the ground. She closed her eyes, trying to feel him.

Anger. Fury. Rage. Death. Destruction. Revenge.

She opened her eyes quickly, "Fuck.. Baine.." She rushed into the shadows of the woods to find Armand, but it was too late. He had already found him.

*She slowly opens her eyes and leaps away from the tree as Baine stepped around it. He was pissed she had left and walked briskly towards her snatching her by the wrist*
~You should have stayed in the house...~*He seethed through clenched teeth, his eyes flaring red as he glances around the forest*
~I know Baine..I...I'm sorry~*She whispers, lowering her head as he lets out a soft growl. She was his love, he knew that, but now he had to decide what to do with her...she was one of them now, a danger to their child and to him*
~Thats not true...~*She speaks icly, jerking herself from his grasp*
~I am not a danger! Baine it wasn't my fault!~*She speaks shakily, knowing that his anger was only growing*

ooc: Shadae is fine by me... just was a bit confused.
ic: Shadae crashes into Baine's shadow on her search for Armand and gets stuck. she hisses at him, contemplating ripping his shadow to shreds with her wonderful little claws.

She fastened her speed and looked to the sky. The eagle was above, screeching away. "Help me.." She whispered to him, in the wind. He screamed back, with the answer yes..

*Baine growls under his breath and turns to the shadowed creature, as he waves his hand back sending the creature back*
~I have no time for this..~*He hisses in anger as he turns, grasping Serena by the wrists, walking off the forest. Serena lowers her head as she follows along behind him, wondering what she was going to do now. Her green/bluish eyes watch Baine quietly, who lets out a sigh and stops, suddenly pulling her close*
~I am sorry Serena..I don't mean to be so angry~*He whispers in her ear as he hugs her close, his fangs slowly dropping so she can't see*

Shadae hisses again a yowls a threat at Baine, now really not happy at all. She throws herself at him, expanding into a large, very angry cat.
