I'll admit that the thought of being a vampire has crossed my mind many times. The fact that I might be one has even filtered in every once in awhile. I love blood, hate the sun, and live for the night. But what actually makes someone a vampire? Enlighten me.

There is no one true definition for who and what a vampire is; it is much like trying to explain the vastness of the universe; it can not be done in general terms.

What you can do however is think about who you are; what you were and what you would like to become. Know yourself inside and out . . be ready to stake your life on what you believe and your word. When you are sure of who you are you will be sure of what you are.

Just in case you wanted me to tell you; sensitivity to light, and nocturnal habits does not make you a vampire.

I must enccourage you to read around the boards and makeuse of the search tool bar at the bottom left hand corner of the last post . .it comes in handy and may prevent you from asking questions that may have already been asked.

If you have more details you would like to share feel free; I have no problem with helping you out.

for what I have found out on the forums and otherwise what makes a vampire are two basic things:
1. thirst for blood (or psi)
2. the strong belief that you indeed are a vampire, actually, not a belief, you feel you are one, like human know they are human you know you are a vamp

think thats how it works basically

Yeah, sorry for asking a previously asked question. i didnt say that i was a vampire because of the light or blood thing. its just that on my end of the internet, i got a bunch of people at my school running around pretending to be vampires and i just wanna smack them. one of them actually faints at the sight of blood lol.

Posers...
If you are not a vampire, then dont pretend to be one.
Its ok to like them though...

I agree with Brien, don't pretend to be anything that you are not. Like I said in an earlier post; Know yourself, be ready to stake your life on your word and your beliefs; never leave room for doubt.

That's all very interesting. I enjoy knowing that I'm not the only one out there with bizarre questions. Though alot of mine have been answered through experience, there will always be more. Yes, there for a while I believed I had what it took to be a vampire, because I am allergic to the sun, prefer the night, enjoy a drink now and then (blood, not alcohol), and am absolutely fascinated by them. Through experience, I've come to know myself. I know that by no means am I an actual vampire. I wouldn't mind the opportunity, but what would I do then? Sure I've had dreams of vampirism since childhood...my father and uncles as well, and perhaps something happened in a previous life to lead to these dreams...who knows. PSI vampirism is a whole different matter for me. I'll get into that one at a later time...don't want to bore everyone in one post. :P
