I wish I could find the words to make you apear,

A mask is the face the people see,
to hide the tears the flow from me.
A face of joy and utter bliss,
what lies beneath is none of this.
You yell my name,and feed me lies,
I held my breath.
Tried not to cry
I brought this on,
this is my mistake
from which time
I can't erase.
The bruise on my arms and face
Yet still I'll wear this mask of grace
