On another forum someone said vampires cant have babies and i think they can. what do you think?

It will always be a contraversial issue, because if vampires could reproduce like humans, why would they transform a human by bleeding them then tainting them by giving their blood to the human? But then again, perhaps that is only fiction, and vampires do truly reproduce as humans, or perhaps it is a bit of both hmm?

Some vampires were humans once, so, I think they can have babies...

It's ok, a lot of people makes those mistakes. What you have to do, is type [ color=blue ] your text [ /color ] without the spaces. Always close your tags. :)

You get at least one other person, have them close their eyes and like, holds hands or set your hand on theirs or make physical contact with them somehow the first time. Then, you try and transfer colors into their head and then everytime you try you have them say if they see a color, then tell you what it is. If they see the color you sent to them, then it worked. ^_^ Then if you want more of a challenge, try doing it without touching each other, then use more complex colors, like seafoam or neon blue or something. and then you close your eyes and they do to you what you did to them, to see if you can RECIEVE the colors, since you already found if you can send them or not.

Its basically like practice for telepathy, or mind talking I suppose. hope I helped

but then some amount of growth is required 2 create a foetus so its doubtful u could even get that

To elaborate on my prevoius post. If you read up on the different kinds of vampire myths and books, it all depends on the writer or terrified villager for that matter. When I say HLVs, sure people like ReVamp can have kids, they aren't dead, vampires on the other hand as in classical depend, it's really all on the legend.

if a vampire is still alive then it comes down 2 wether s/he is immortal or not, in the sense s/he wont age, if the vamp is immortal then there is no growth involved and so their can b no babies. unless u add in some mystical reasoning y the vampire should have children but then u can claim "magic" with anything cant u

ReVamp, whenever you get the chance could you visit this lovely thread and write out what a good definition in your opinion of a HLV is, I think it would clear that up a little better.

In my opinion, HLVs are living beings who take the world a little differently then the rest of us (See this is why I need ReVamp in here soon)

Now, to what Wraith said, yes, if you are that way, you would no longer be classified as an HLV, and you would be right, but I haven't come across anyone who was immortal yet, even though this topic is all hypothetical, still, I think that vampires would be looked at as dead creatures who can't breed, neither can living people with problems in their reproductive organs. So, whether you're living or dead, there is always a chance that you won't be allowed to have children, the dead are just assured a little more fullheartedly then the living.

For a good hearted definition let's let ReVamp cover this one, I have my opinion of what it is, but I'm not shoving you the wrong way in this conversation to be suddenly showed the light later. Okay, screw it, here's what my opinion of an HLV is:

Human Living Vampire
Very common people who though they enjoy blood in amounts that fit themselves, they do not represent qualities such as immortality, sun fright, fear of stakes and crosses, none of that applies, they just enjoy the vampire lifestyle and as they enjoy it they test it out.

That is my interpretation of an HLV. Hope I helped!

The way I think about it, Sex and babies are a function of Mortality. If you are 'beyond' mortality it doesn't figure, since the purpose of sex and babies is then irrelevant.

no no, we are talking about the cloning of vampires and how do you choose cloned vampires carefully? technically, cloned vampires don't belong to any masters therefore who is there to stop them when the supply of blood is running low?

Draq: I just imaginated what would happen, I created a scenario similar to the movie "the reign of fire", dragons kill all beasts in the planet, they sleep and humans wake them up later, I imagined what would happen with vampires: the same, but in less time (considering vampire overpopulation)

But vampires could born in one of the mitosis process, you know, maybe like the gremlims, with little things getting out of their boddies, if you want a realistic example, you have corals and hydras (not the greek ones) the primitive ones, they reproduce theirselves in that way.

Vampires also could be created of nowhere (just imaginating, no theories)

Or vampires could lay eggs...

Or just have sex...

Vampires laying eggs......... that is interesting......... to me, it suggests that vampires could actually be a cross between humans and another spieces!

just an idea: humans evolved from vampires.............. as time passed, instead of the vampire race becoming nearer to perfection, it started to decline........... and the Blood Ritual is another way to create vampires, but through it........... the vampire's powers decline and they become vulnerable in sunlight.......

does this make any sense?
