Jakob Sanguine was born as Jakob Vinog but was given the name Sanguine shortly after he was turned just over three hundred years ago. He was an antiquarian researching lost treasures around the world for his patrons in Europe and was very successful at finding and absconding with priceless artifacts.
He had the misfortune of uncovering the lost tomb of Ahkhassa, an ancient vampire queen who "rewarded" him with the gift of vampirism. Jakob quickly set upon his workers and aides with his new queen and thus earned his name of Sanguine for survivors noted the praeturnatural confidence he exuded as he moved amongst the encampments rending the bodies of former colleagues and revelling in their warm blood and desperate screams.
Ahkhassa quickly tired of her newest toy and left Jakob to the mercy of the locals who managed to entomb him in the crypt where Ahkhassa had lain for centuries.
For three hundred and six years Jakob waited in the dark crypt growing more bitter and vengeful as time wore on.
A few months ago, Jakob Sanguine was discovered by an oil exploration crew and his dessicated corpse was moved to the Royal British Museum as an oddity of extreme archaeological significance. A mummified corpse from the 17th century discovered in an ancient crypt? The researches never made it to their press release and the newspapers told a tale of sickening bloodshed and bodily mutilations in relation to the theft of a rare and unique archaeological find.
Jakob is extremely embittered and vengeful, his seemingly unquenchable thirst for blood has forced him to keep moving and running. He longs to find his hidden cache of ancient treasures which he hid from his patrons in the mountains of northern Italy but first he must feed....

Special Powers: Jakob's powers are limited as he is still a fledgling vampire. The power of Ahkhassa did imbue him with the following traits...
