Ok...I live in New York - lots of weird people round here...so anyways, I went to this club with a girl I met at school, and when I got there I realised it was a vampiric club and I was totally psyched! I had NEVER been in one! So, we go inside and there are like these rooms we walked by and I chanced a peek in one of the back rooms and I watched this guy bite this girl in the neck and suck some blood! It didn't gross me out, but the guy had seen me and invited me in...I went in and we all talked and then my friend finally found us, and the girl that had been bitten was fine and all, talking and everything...could this have been an act...or someone who thinks they are...I'm asking, as he invited my friend and I to the club (you need an invite from one of the members...she had gotten one from her cousin). Should I go, or stay away?

I'm with Caelen here, it doesn't sound very much like a vampire scene. Biting the neck to draw blood, isn't that immensely painful? Especially since our teeth aren't that sharp, it'll be more like chewing your way through the skin... Did you see any blood at all?
However, sexual biting, without the blooddrinking, now that I can picture.

I was thinking the same thing when I read that part.... Biting the neck, while seeming some what romanticized (sp?) and all, is very dangerous... not just for pain (which it is VVVVEEERRRYYYY painful) but particularily for infection and danger because of the area you are drawing form.... there are many veins etc going through your neck, and if you bite the wrong spot.. u could be fuct... If you are to bite someone, you need to have extremely sharp teeth... I have sharp temporary fangs (i can clip them over my canines) (i got them because my natural fangs were ground down when i was little :S) and I still can't bite my donor on the neck without causing her immense pain....as for infection.... your mouth is the dirtiest part of your body, home to millions of germs... the steps for cleaning ones self in order to bite someone, would be something like as follows.
1. floss
2. Floss again
3. Brush your teeth.
3. Brush your teeth again
4. Mouthwash for a few MINUTES
then you would need to clean the site (your donor) with at the very least rubbing alcohol.
In the case of drinking blood using any other method (that i can think of off the top of my head), technically only the donors blood would need to be checked for infection (because the vampire does not exchange blood with the donor)... But with biting, if you clean your mouth beforehand, you must make sure that neither of you have anything wrong with your blood.... why?
Simple answer.... whenm you brush and floss, you put tiny little cuts in your gums and you bleed... Thus allowing for the swaping of blood.
hehe i lke babbling on.

Yup, sounds more BDSM and gothica than actual vampirism to me.

I saw blood, but it could be one of those things like play acting and junk that people do.

Well it very well could have been blood... but that does not nessesarily constitute vampirism...

This is true. My feeling is these people were exhibitionists as well as other things. I would have thought that the drawing of blood is a very intimate thing that you wouldn't really want to share with the world. Some people just live to shock.

You know, i'd probably be a little freaked but i'd go just to check it out. Are you SURE that this girl was bitten cause she would have screamed in pain, then again i can bit things and make 'em bleed (sharp teeth) ahh well, but he might have a disease that MAKES you THINK you're a vampire but you just aren't. . .

Seems like there are a few things to do.
I wouldn't go, then again, I don't believe in vampires so that could possibly make my decission for me now couldn't it?
