if you were a vegetarion before you were biten would that make you a vegetarion vampire after you were biten? Just wondering and no im not drunk. hehehe
You know like fruit bats but instead of fruit bats you have fruit vampires.
vampire:"I vant to drink your juice!"
victim: "oh no you want to drink my blood?"
vampire: "No i vant to drink your apple juice"
The Brood
Well it doesn't really matter what you were before you got turned. But I suppose all vampires are vegeterians in a way - they drink blood, but they don't eat meat.
ReVamp3d
ummmmm...no....... blood is a bodily fluid (a vital one at that), which contains live organisms and cells...produced in the BODY of a living 'animal'...that hardly sounds vegetarian to me...
Caelen
you will find that most vegetarians will not eat any part of an animal, that means bones, gluten (made from animal bones)- which counts out McDonalds Milkshakes ;), skin, any internal organ- in any form and of course blood, blood is not a vegetarian food product...

You could say the same thing about milk & other diary products too though, and alot of people who use them but don't eat meat still consider themselves vegeterian. Some even eat fish and still say they're vegeterian. There are different degrees to it.
Liod
Cows won't die from lack of milk though...nor does the milk do anything productive in their body. It's just being stored there...

But you are correct, there are degrees of vegetarianism, I think it's vegans that avoids not only meat and meatproducts, but dairy products, and eggs as well. Blood, however, is considered a meatproduct and is generally shunned by all vegans and vegetarians.
Azriela
Interesting topic here . . simple question, simple answers. Vampires(one that consume blood) are not vegetatians or vegans on any level at all.
Psi Vamps they can be considered vegans/vegetarians in the technical sense they feed on your energy directly and can up keep a vegan lifestyle if they want. Unless they are dual feeders.
suicidal-dream
I suppose they could be vegetarians if they wanted but i would think that being turned into a vampire might change your prospective on issues a lil.
ReVamp3d
'turned'? are you talking about mythical vampires Dream?
suicidal-dream
Yeah sure , it was a quick type and i couldnt think of another word.

Okay, in my opinion, it would really suck to have been a vegetarian before being a vampire. For one, certain vegetarians who I've known have been against the idea of meat processing and that's why they are vegetarians, others, are generally going to throw up when they see a spot of pink anywhere on their food, (meaning blood) and others are just likely to ignore meat because it's a trend. If you were the first kind, I guess, it wouldn't really matter, the second kind, you're screwed, the third kind, screw the trend you're a vampire now.
ReVamp3d
ech @ trends... ::sick::
Draquilas
My point exactly. "Ech"
Kath

I became a Vegatarian to save the Animals...not the humans end of story.
Barnabas
:meow: As much as i agree that it sould suck to be a vegetarian and then be forced to drink human blood...I just cannot get this picture of a childrens story about Bunnicula the bunny...he sucked carrot juice. So why not...we COULD have a vegetarian vampire who would drink drink grape juice followed by a shooter of carrot juice...sounds reasonable... :censored:
snowy_lisle
No vegetarian would eat black pudding

Humans are animals. And some vampires do drink from animals. Dead or alive.

Okay...first of all, I am a vegetarian because I have a deep bond with animals. The difference between a vegetarian and a vegan is that a vegan consumes no animal products - including eggs, fish, and dairy products. A vegetarian can still consume dairy and eggs (lacto-ovo vegetarian - me).

As for blood - I speak for a good percentage of vegetarians when I say that I would never drink the blood of anything. It's not the same as drinking milk, because, like others before me have already stated: blood is the life force of all animals. It contains things essential to live. The process of creating dairy products does not harm the goat or cow. They simply have milk to supply us humans with it. That is its purpose. The purpose of blood is NOT to satisfy our cravings for it, it is to allow the creature to live.

So, no. If you are referring to the fictional kind here - you can't be a vampire that murders humans for blood and consider yourself a "vegetarian." In fact, that is the exact OPPOSITE of a vegetarian.

I AM A VEGETARIAN, AND I DRINK THE BLOOD FROM HUMANS... THE ONLY REASON I AM A VEGETARIAN IS BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE HUMAN RACE. :meow:
TrinityTortura
I don't know about vegetarian vampires but I know if I was one, I would eat all meat and drink bloods from animals that I can and humans.
Lazarel
hay.
im a vegetarian, but vampirism has appeal to me.
ive been vegetarian since i was four. i just started refusing to eat meat etc.

sry, i forgot who said it, but yeah, i avoid mcD's milkshakes and .. well all fastfood foods.

i dont like the thought of animals hurting, and even walking past the meat counter in a supermarket makes me wanna throw up.

Ive never drunk any1's blood before, but i ko ppl that have, and the stories are really arousing.

i think its ok to be vegetarian and vampire, because when ppl drink blood its between 2 consenting ppl. and its not causing harm to then(considering they have no diseases and practice safe sex etc .. which is basically common practice anyways)

But theres more to vampirism than just blood, its the sexuality of it.
its the whole persona of the vampires, the erotica of them.
In my vampire fantisies, im not always bitten. the neck for example is a very sensitice and sensual area .. kissing and love bites can sometimes be enough to satisfy me, and thats only as far as my vamp fetish has ever gotten in real life anyways  . lol.

And sitting chewing a slab of steak isnt the same as loving a vampire.
Chewing a lump of dead meat is revolting(to me anyways)
but sex and erotica is with a living person and its sexual.(even in fantasy where its a typical 'dead' vampire .. they look .. and are living, as such .. i hope you can understand what i mean)

I beleive if a vampire was a vegitarian it wouldnt scare me, I would feel sorry for it instead. Come on, Vegitarian vampires ? you'd know right away how to kill it, pour beef broth all over it, and listen to it bitch at you for hours and fuckin drag it to a river and throw it in there.
Draquilas
Or throw it in the sun if we're talking a classical vegetarian vampire.
