Hello everyone!
I haven't seen all those movies (just 5 of 7), but for the ones I have seen, it is kind of difficult to decide between IWTV and Bram Stoker's Dracula (I suppose it is the one directed by Francis Ford Coppola), But I made up my mind for the second one, Maybe IWTV is better in some aspects, but I got, somewhat, marked by Bram Stoker's novel... That is why I voted for that movie.

I think the best film of all time is 'The Vampire Lovers' (1970). It is deeply erotic.

I wasn't able to add options to the poll, Unbound, only edit the existing ones...
And you missed the best, or at least cutest one...the little Vampire...I loved that movie. That's how my kids are going to look when they get older... :D

I voted for Bram Stokers anyway...but just because Gary Oldman is so damn hot in that one... *grins*

I have seen "Vampire Journals." I own it on VHS. It is a good movie. I have been watching it for years. It is an ok movie when it comes to vampire fact. I thought some parts were beautiful. I love beauty. I have introduced it to many friends and they liked it a lot, and remember it always. I do not like the head vampire in that. Well, the :bad" guy whoever he is. He makes the fact he is a vampire almost comedic. He's being "too much" of a vampire if that's even possible. Some may know what I mean. None-the-less it was a good flick.
I still think the Anne Rice novel based movie, "Interview with the Vampire" was the best vampire movie ever released.

I have seen, and own all those movies listed. As I said, I liked Interview with the Vampire best. Prince of Darkness was also very good. I adored the ending. I do not see how that could not draw in anyone.
Vlad-"Will you walk with me?"
Cneajna-"I will walk with you..."
*Than they walk together back to the castle.
By the way. Vlad's wife was named Cneajna. I am not sure of the spelling. That's close though. "Cneajna" is the romanian spelling for the english name "Lydia." And the romanian pronunciation I believe. But since "Prince of Darkness" was all in english pretty much...that is probably why they said "Lydia."

Best Movie was Stroker's. Maybe I am insane (maybe?) but I cried like hell at the end.
I love reading all of the Rice Chronicles, but the movies lose so much.

The Movie "Queen of the Damned" did lose a lot of the passion and feel from the actual Anne Rice Novel. But Interview with the Vampire was only enhanced by the film made. Anne Rice agrees, as you can see at the beginning of that movie. The casting and script was wonderful. Bram Stokers Dracula was ok, but mainly just fiction and a movie for fans of the dark nature and some action. Wynona Ryder did a nice job in that film though.
Regards.

My favorite movie of all time is Interview with the Vampire. I haven't seen Queen of the Damned yet, I dont think it will be as good as IWTV but hopefully it will come close. I love Bram Stokers Dracula too. I also like the lost boys. :)

Interview with the Vampire is the best movie out of all of them cause it tells u more about a vampires life and what some go through and the life of one is not so easy as one belives. Queen of the Damned is a great movie and book as well.

Well, My vote goes to IWTV. It is just an awesome movie. I was highly disappointed with Queen of the Damned. It was ok but no near the quaility of IWTV. Although my favorite movie scene goes to Blade an the bloodbath seen. That was awesome.

Hey I've got a few of them. I'll even mail em to ya if you want. I have Interview, the vampire Lestat, tale of the body theif, the vampire Armand, and Memnoch the devil.... Lemme know Unbound
Ah and for the poll there just aren't enough to choose from.
Or the classic Nosferantu? Son/ Daughter of Dracula are also oldies but goodies....
And Vampire hunter D... yum
Vampires: los muertos
So so many more!
But my favorite is Dracula. Just because Gary Oldman makes a good vampire. You can see him in other things and not really recognize him unlike other top notchers like Tom cruise, Stewart Townsend, brad pitt, vincent perez et cetra...

I choose Dracula 2000 just becasue I like the twist on Drac's background. I also kjust saw Interveiw again but this time after I had read the book. The movie coulda been darker but it's pretty good.
Why didn't they do a Vampire Lestat movie before they did Queen of the Damned?

kinda odd too , the fearless vampire slayers, it starred sharon tate androman polanski, who were at the center of the manson slayings, *roman polanski didnt get killed , for he was away*. but yes that is an awesome film, very camp ....i loved it...

I agree with morph... gotta watch the rest of the ones i haven't seen.
Salem's lot was real good... really good.
I like the anne rice books better than the movies, gives more detail.
Since i'm a history nut (just plain nuts?:P) I like Dracula, prince of darkness the most:)

I have watched a few of the list .. but not all of them attracts me. I must say, Bram Stoker's Dracula is one of the best, but classics like Nosferatu and an indie film called Razor Blade Smile are more intricated and daring.
