all the streets
are asleep

on Halloween

haunted faces
dance in flames

IN BEAUTY AND DARKNESS

us
the vampire bats
hang above
we sing with poetic beauty
us
in beauty and darkness
creatures of the night
find beauty
hold it
keep it true
we find beauty

keep it true.....

we mourn for our
hearts as they are dead
but did we know
this wont reprise
we try to stay
