Ive been told there are certain rules that all real vampire communities go by. What are they? What are they called?
Olivia Cainin
My Dear,
This has long been a discussion. In
the past 25 years much has been
published about vampires and old
"clans" or "covens". While interesting
and entertaining reading, they are
for the most part, fiction. Role playing.
No different than the movies that most
of us so enjoy watching.

There are no "secret" law, rules, signs
or handshakes that are known only by
"true" vampires. No special meeting places
or gatherings or clubs. Yes, there are places
in the world where people calling themselves
vampires have been know to congregate.
But I have my doubts about may who attend
these "rallies".

But that is my opinion. You will find others that
will tell you otherwise. I have found through my
lifetimes that vampires are pleased to converse
and maintain relationships with others of their
kind. But do not desire to gather in large groups
where they can "be vampires" in mass.
Friendships and associations are usually few
and treasured. But again, this is only my opinion,
my experience. But I look back far through the
ages and I do not have knowledge of such things
as you speak of existing... at any point in time.

The exception to that may be the present.... many
of those who call themselves "new vampires" do
tend.... in their youth to gather. So possibly they
have some "secrets" to which I am unaware.

There are rules among my organization, but they are established by me.... I don't know of any rules with the purpose of hiding what we are... On the contrary... My Temple encourages me on stating my nature and gather more members... I don't agree with this... A similiar 'Masquarade' is needed in my oppinion... Not with the same restrictions but still. Some info should just remain secret...
