Magic was designed to change from one person to the next to be personalized, which is why many ancient documents on magic are hard to read as the so called real spell books are often just foot notes and reminders to the user who had most of it memorized, but this doesn't stop people from trying to tell you how to do it. but then again knowing the essential version is best in order to properly adapt it, but I wish this Fiona Horne wouldn't be so pathedic in her spells as I have said in other threads about the dieties she calls upon.

now for a diabolic mystic item and the ritual to endow it with power.

first creating the ball its self. you need a mold, wood, plastic, metal, it doesn't matter its just a mold for the round shape, the mold should be able to create a small round object about the size of a golf ball. "now it gets trickey"

we have the mold no problem but the ball is a thing of necromancy and crystal magic. we need the following ingredients

1. White clay from a buriel ground

2. a skull: more precisely the ground up powder from the brain case "the smarter the animal it comes from the better that way more thaught energy will be inbedded in the nerco energy for a potent mix, the preferred skull is human, however the skull must be bleached dry by the sun to illiminate any connection with evil im-pure spirits. of course an ape's skull works just as well, but for beginners I would recommend something smaller and alot dumber, maybe the brain case powder from several mice or something. that way the magic is less likely to draw the attention of something that might like to steal the ball.

3. an jem stone "small" from one of the following Jade, Opal, Diamond, Ruby
but only one and it needs to be very small because it is going to be put inside the ball "forever".

now the creation we mix the bone dust powder with the white clay thouraghly so its and even mix, open the mold and place half in half the mold, then take the Jem and cut the tip of your tongue with it placeing the blood on the Jem stone by the instrument of speach and taste place this gently into the half a mold so it rests in the middle." then put top of mold on, and finnish pouring rest of mold full "do not top off" if their is extra material left over then save it thats some potent material that can be used for other things.

leave mold in the sun to harden and dry, for three summer days "high summer is when this whole thing is to be done"

now remove mold and take out ball, carefully smooth surface and add preservative water proof coating "this can be any clear material that will float over the surface, but the original material with the most "oompf" so to speak is a guarded secret so humans must do with what ever they can find, " varnish might work". or even clear water proofing like you put on a wood deck.

let dry and smooth again so its as round as possible now you have the ball. even with out the next part with the ritual this thing is a dangerous piece of necromancy and is bound to you by your own blood and already works as a conduit to absorb any nearby life force and transfer it to you, and will store in its self any extra that your body can not hold, however at this point when you use magic its your own bodies life force that will still be drained before going to the ball, so at this point its not very usefull except for a reserve in case you over do it in a spell.


The Ball ritual: this will allow you to access the reserves in the ball with out first draining your own body of its energy.

the ingredients:

1.a copper chalice "cup basically made of copper"

2. Water from a mountain rain cloud: to explaine: rain clouds are always a given level of the atmosphere with out regard to how high the ground is, thus people in sea level areas see rain clouds way up and people in the mountains "way up altitudes see the clouds as close to the ground. this means you need to collect in a bottle or gourd or something rain water that has only fallen between ten to twenty feet down before it falls in the container you are useing.

2. Fresh rice plants six stalks : these have to have been grown in Chinese, Korean, Viatnam, or Japanese soil, it has to do with the nature of the plant in relation to the soil, however (ALL) six of the stalks must come from the same rice field as they need to be closely related plants, and they have to have the same soil origen, while these soils all have simuler mystic properties they differe just enough from place to place to counter act each other during the ritual

3. two five to six foot long strands of silk "about eight inches wide by five to six feet long.

4. two bands of sheep skin or horse skin with the same dimensions as the silk.

5. The Ball created earlier

"the actual ritual is to be done out side at night during a full moon"

okay now that we have all these things together, we must first set up the alter.
place the copper chalice in the middle one skin band and silk band folded together on each side like this first the skin touches the ground then fold in the silk then skin and on like that so the skin touches the ground and is on top "basically the silk is folded into the skin" do this for both sides. place them neatly and even with each other at the sides of the chalice so the from above the wraps appear to just touch the edge of the spaceat the sides of the chalice lOl like that in apperance roughly. except of course the wraps should be perfect neat squares at the side.

now on top of each wrap place three of the six fresh rice stalks so they meet at the bottom on the wrap but seperate at the top "a fan shape".

now place the ball in to the center of the chalice, fill it with the special rain water until the water is just above the top of the ball "in fact if it is just water tension keeping it above the ball then that is best. so long as their are now dry spots on the ball and the water isn't so deep that it interfers with the light makeing the ball appear to be not where it is "the light effect of water makeing objects appear to be slightly to the side of where they are" its important to both have the ball under the water and to be able to look directly at it and it be their in that spot.

now for the most annoying part "the asking of permissions."
"note" even after all of this you may not be allowed to go through with the ritual "but hay at least you have a reservour ball out of it"

first sit cross leged before the alter "on the side where the base of the stalks meet"
also make sure this is faceing the full moon when its done.
now place your hands above the rice stalks and wraps and bow your head with your eyes closed and ask "Inari lord of rice, I ask thee to allow this human the right to use your rice in the creation of this magic, I "your name" most humbly ask thee for this most generouse action from you the lord of rice and agriculture"
the sign that it says yes will be a whispering wind blowing in your ear or a slight rumble from the earth directly beneath you.

now open you eyes and look up to the moon and ask, "Great ancient elder, Patriarch of foxes and all things wild, I "your name" a mere mortal human most humbly beseech of you the god of beast, magic and lord over the twilight hours permission to use your magic in this manner to create this power and pledge to use it according to your laws, I beseech thee might Elder, Patriarch of the wild and the night for this. now bow your head and if it answears yes the sign will be one of the following, a warm or hot breeze blowing into both ears from opposite direction, the feeling of a hand being placed on your head, or the light of the moon around you dimming for a moment "not from a cloud" but with out any seen reason, or a fox appears out of no where bows its head then vanishes like a ghost "this last one is very rare especially for humans"

now for the ritual, look down directly at the ball with you hands over the rice and wraps still, and imagine an eye opening on your forehead, and focuse the energy from the earth passing up through the wraps and rice and into your hands, up into you chest, incircling your heart and out through the opposite shoulder from the arm it came from after circling the heart and up the sides of the neck seemenly up through the arteries, and in to the back of the head and around and through the brain and out through the forehead eye and through your own eyes, "should feel like steaming hot gas comeing out your eyes and drying them "try now to blink except when it become too unbearable but don't leave your eyes closed for more than three seconds or you will have caused a back up that is very painful "you should tear up and shed tears down your check during this its natural and shows your devotion. now the energy going out the three eyes is to be focoused like it it is twirling together and going into the ball.
"keep this up until the sun rise, or until the water vaporise in a mist, or until you hear a strange out of no where voice whisper in your ear something to the like of "its complete now you can stop" which ever comes first.

So for people doing this its best not to tell others they are doing it especially if those others might try some other magic to save you "and this includes prayers to protect you"
The magic at hand requires an un-disturbed free flow of energies and any shields or filters will interupt this process and have "DIRE CONSEQUENCES" like getting your self possessed by something, or any number of other things,
even stopping early can have the same horrible consequences but usually results in something from the other side following you home.

thus are the dangers when dealing with such strong magics.

Okay a more mundane item

A demon capture Jar:

ingredients:

1.Dust/Powder from a forgotten Grave marker "old broken marble tomb stone that no one visits any more or any one knows any thing about the person buried there.

2.Leaf from a tree that is rooted in a corpse "usually an old very big tree in an old cemetary"

3. Berry from a bush that either has roots that reach into a corpse or is located directly on a grave even with out touching the body.

4. Three blades of grass from blessed ground "preferably the grass from the very spot the communiel wine or holy water was splashed/ poured on. "also it doesn't matter for what the blessing was made for or for what god, it could even be the spot sacred ash was poured on.


5. Bark from a hangman's tree or one that has seen death "ie: some one was hung in its branches, someone was shot against it, killed at its roots etc...

6. Cursed water: water from a bog, pond, or swamp that is home to evil spirits.

7. left fang of a cat that has been possessed by a demon.

8. Volcanic clay.


now the procedure: take volcanic clay and all the material except the tooth and mix them together "mix thouraghly" makeing sure to crush up the leaf and grass and mix in the water and make sure it is really mixed in well. now form the clay into the shape of a pot and use some of the clay to make a lid "a seperate piece from the rest and that the lid and pot will make a snug fit when dryed. now of course fire the jug and lid seperatly "not mystical reason just pottery rule because with the lid on the air trapped in side the bot will cause the pot to explode."

when done Tada: one demon Capture Jar/pot with a nice lid "if you want to can put a symbol or writing on the lid it doesn't make any difference "this is physical magic not symbol magic" now take the tooth and set it inside the Jar.

the capture method:
this Jar and be used as a trap for evil spirits, all you need is to know the write parchment symbols for the type of spirit/demon you are trying to catch, "preferabbly in the writing of the language the spirit comes from" wrap the tooth in the parchment and with the lid hidden in your robe sleeve "this was from a monk's guide so I guess you could hide it in your pocket or just out of sight. take all this into the haunted area or before the possessed being "human or animal" and sit quitly like a statue behind the pot at your feet and "do not look inside the pot after this point" wait and wait until you hear the parchment rustling "this is the evil spirit trying to get the fang" now quikly with out looking in the pot jam on the lid "this is why it needs to be a snug fit" for a few moments you should hear sounds inside the jar like threats or growls and some shakeing of the jar but in the end so long as their is no way for air or water to pass through the lid then the spirit also doesn't have enough space to escape as it can't pass though the jar per its mystical nature.
and whalla you have captured a demon to keep and hide away forever. "not only one demon can fit in each pot per tooth and only one tooth can be placed in each pot "two or more evil spirits could break out the pot, its not that strong a containment" on that note this jar won't work in higher demons only basic evil spirits. also Never open the lid even a crack because spirits are always ready to escape at any moment, the same occurs if their is acrack that goes all the way into the jar, and if any one opens the lid and looks inside they will be possessed by the spirit trapped with in it.

I have a spell for immortality. Actually, one spell and one potion...

6. fresh rain water from the paws of these same four species of animals.

7. two cups of water from an animal drinking hole.

8. three cups of blood from a stag.

9. a palm's worth of blood from a horse.

10. a handfull of wool from a black sheep, and a handful from a white sheep "both female sheep"

11. a rabbits heart choped up.

12. the ground skull of a rat.

13. the liver of a salt water fish "not a shark"

14. the liver of a river fish

15. three drops of your own blood from your right index finger.

now for the cooking place.

in your cooking fireplace use the fallen twigs from an oak tree and you will need a whole lot of them remember their twigs not logs, and "not chopped but fallen twigs" hang your pot over these twigs of course and fill the pot halfway full with fresh rain water, then after this water has cooked for a minute place in your ingredients "all choped up of course like a stew" and keep stiring for at least two hours "you may need a second persons help or a very close bag of twigs to keep the fire going while you stir," and in this time your stew should be at a boil, and come back and stir every minute for another hour.
now stop the fire. pour yourself a bowl "makeing sure to get a hefty dose of the wool and eat it.
thats right "EAT IT" thats why its called a stew. and you must eat all of the wool at the very least as it has absorbed the power of the other ingredients.

after you finnish eating all this curl up in to a ball and go to sleep on the ground.

and if you don't vomit you should now have the power of shapeshifting now, and as a bonus be about "five beers short of a six pack"

now you will need a pot, this pot must be made of pure jade.

basically this ingedient is asking for the water from a Geiser or Geyser how ever thats actually spelled"

how to eat a ghost. "Spirit Spear"

Ingredients,

1. Leg bone of a Mare "upper leg bone that connects with thigh": Bleached in the sun for seven days after being thouraly cleaned in pure water.

2. 13 strands of stallion's tail hair

3. six cat fangs "three pairs"

4. a full set of human teeth

5. White Buriel clay

6. two silver knife blades removed from their handles and welded together at the base.

"make sure to use cherry wood for the welding fire" yes a much slower method of welding but is the only method that will work"

now ground up the human teeth to dust.

take one strand of the Stallion's hair and connect the cat fangs with it like a necklace "little holes in base if fangs with hair stranded through them"

now drill a hole in the upper thicker part of the mare's leg bone that goes down five to six inches "or just before the bone becames more narrow"

now take the cat fang necklace and place in hole "one tooth on top the next" "not side by side so in other words the hole needs to be narrow"

now pour the human tooth dust down in the hole to fill up the space.

now with that down take the white buriel clay and cap of the hole "and fill it in a little more in case their is too much space "however when done when you gently skake the spear you should hear a rattle sound" "but only slightly: a ghostly sort of sound"

now while the clay is still soft in bed one end of the double sided knife you created to the base/junction of the two blades in the clay: this is the conduit/spear head.

now makeing sure the blade stays straight allow to dry. "remember after this never ever under any circumstances allow the spear to get wet" water could counter act the spear.

also the twelve other strands of stallion hair are to be tied together with each other as a spiral then looped around the mare bone from the skinny end up to the base of the thick part as a spiral, the extra length of the hair wraps around the base of the thick part and twice over the top "once over each side of the top on opposite sides of he knife blade"

now you have a spirit spear.

all you need to do to use it, is hold it at its skinny base with your writing han, go into some place haunted, "the rattle will attract ghosts, and by stabbing the spear into any Apparition that approaches its energy will be drained and transferred into your body."

warning: do not stab a demon its evil will transfer as well, and some stronger ghosts may also transfer their last emotion before death "terror, sadness..." and sometimes bits of it memory could transfer to avoid this never completly drain a ghost until it vanishes, pull out the spear when the ghost starts to blink "appear and dissapear".
