hey all. I'm looking for characters for my thread "House of Lies" in the Eros Noir section. It's basically about asassins trying to kill a vampire for a ten million dollar reward that will be given by the vampire's wife. I'm playing the wife (Hera Diamondclaw, a werewolf), but I'm looking for someone to replace the person who is playing the husband, Seth Diamante, a vampire. Also a few assasins would be welcome! Sure... it's an assasin thread, but my character and her husband live in a house with lots of slaves for werewolves and vampires and stuff.... you can play one of those. You can either make yourself a house servant or a slave of a specific vampire/werewolf/shapeshifter. Basically whatever you want, as long as it makes sense.

i'll be a slave shape shifter and can i work like around the house like cleaning and stuff like that

lol Crimson-Stilletos, basically you can be either an asassin, servant of a specific vampire/werewolf/shapeshifter, or replace the person who used to play Seth, my character's husband. It's set today in a society with a lot of deception takes place, so really you can play any type of character as long as it fits and makes sense in the plot. Please be sure to post your stats here before you start posting in the thread.. really looking forward to seeing what my story becomes.

Too bad Seth can't all of a sudden turn into a woman..lol..I realized that if I play him he'll probably come across as more than slightly iffeminate. I was wondering if I could be like Seth's personal slave ( :rolleyes: ) if you get my drift. I'll post some stats here and you decide what you want me to do. ^_^

Hmmm... that's a good idea. You could do that, Crimson-Stilletos, or you could be like his mistress that just happens to stay at the House of Bloodroyals. Seth does abuse his wife, after all. That's just an idea... but whatever you'll do, It'll be fabulous.

What's this 'Seth' guy like? (as a character) If nobody else takes him, I will, but I wanna know what he's like beforehand, so my performance synchs up with the previous one.

If you read this part from the first post, you can really get an idea of the type of guy Seth is... abusive jerk, who has a mistress (My character doesn't know, but Crimson-Stilletos will play Seth's mistress), and who has basically abused Hera for her entire marriage, but trusts her because he knows she fears him.

Thinking these thoughts, Hera leaves the window as she approaches the coffin of her husband, Seth Diamante, the vampiric owner of the House of Bloodroyals. She had married him five years ago in an arranged marriage, not out of love but out of status. Hera was only fourteen when she had married Seth, entering marriage in a manner that was very traditional for her people. Hera herself was raised in a very traditional manner, and was always dominated by another male figure in her household. In childhood it was her brother and father, and now it was her husband Seth. Before her marriage, she would have owned the House of the Bloodroyals, a very valuable piece of estate due to the piece of land that it was on and the sums of money that rich supernaturals paid to stay there with their human servants. However, because she was brought up in a very traditional and formal manner, Hera lost all the property that was supposed to be hers to Seth. After her marriage, Seth had also been abusive at times and also suppressed her like a father suppresses his daughter. She hated men because of the treatment that she received from her father, brother, and husband-- and she wasn't about to take more of this treatment from anyone.

This is the only post that BlackRook made as Seth... so it'll be relatively easy to take over from where he left off.

OOC: I;ll be the bad guy, but know this; id never mistread a women..just my little clause!

So, Seth's an abrasive arsehole...hmmm...I'm afraid to say that I don't think I'd be able to do that kind of character justice. Sorry. What else is available? I'll take anything that doesn't require me to be a hybrid of pimp and dictator.

That's alright, Death... you could also be like a hunter trying to kill Seth or like a customer or even a slave at the House of BloodRoyals... whatever you feel like doing that'll make sense within the context of the story.

I dont want to give too much of my character away as she is a shifty allianced character but I will say she is a type of assassin-hired by somebody else to take out someone else.......so kinda a bad guy? Whichever side you want me to be on hun. Ill be pretty quorky on either one. Ill leave my allegiance up to you-the game master.

Though it appears heavy, when touched by a worthy user, it becomes as light as a feather.

sry for double posting, but just wanted to let everybody that comes here that I won't be accepting as many Hunters, for I originally started this thread to find a Seth. Anybody able to play him? A basic idea of the kind of guy he is can be found on the latter part of the first page, and to get the whole idea of what the story is really about, you should really read the whole first post. Thanks, and sorry if I'm being an asshole.

I have a question to ask-Since noone as of yet has even bothered to try to be seth is there anyway that my character can "skin ride" seth?
(ghosts can skin ride a character which is basically like demonic possession)
Im sure youve read so far how many characters shes used as "skin Jobs" and was wondering if its okay with your permission so that someone is actually posting as Seth.-Just trying to help.

hmmmm. that would be interesting Dolly. it's fine with me, and if/when someone comes to play Seth, you could just leave his body and then they could take over..... or you could just control Seth for the rest of the RP. whatever you want to do. but the skin riding thing is cool w/me.

Aw, I feel really bad Athena...if you want I can like kill off Helena and become Seth. But I think what Dolly's doing will be fun (I love the ghost stuff Dolly!! ). Just let me know what I can do to make the RP what u want it to be!

It's okay, Crimson. I love Helena's character..... couldn't have written better for her had I played her myself! I was originally so worried that this thread would die, like so many others of mine have. Just keep doing what you're doing.... it's an awesome story so far.

Thank you for the permission-i Took a bit of acting in high school and am somewhat of an actress at present (drag queen) So the charcter will be dead on but keep on reading-the final showdown will be something worth reading about!

oh! and I forgot to say that it would be kinda weird for someone else to take over seth once buffy skin rides him because-as my past posts of prop characters have shown-She tends to obliterate the shells she controls when leaving them.
