*Samantha sighed sadly and sipped her hot chocolate. It was raining outside the coffee shop and she didn't think there'd be many costumers today. She plugged in the OPEN sign anyway. If anything she'd enjoy the endless free cocoa for herself. She brushed her honey brown hair from her face and plugged in all the machines.*
The lights flickered as she did so, then went out. *She layed her head on the counter, you'd think something in her life would go right, just once.*

Clarissa stepped into the cafe, her black curls dripping wet. She smiled as she sat down. "Hello, Samantha. Seems like you're not having a great day." Clarissa's crimson lips curved into a gentle smile in the darkness. She pulled out a match from her bag and lit some candles. "What's on your mind, hun?"

Lily was absolutely drenched from the rain... and she loved it... Her long raven colored hair stuck to her back... She was in the mood for.... coffee... She smiled to herself as she entered a near by coffee shop which was occupied by only two girls..... She walked in and looked to them.... she reckongnized them both... "Sam? Clarissa? Wow what luck!..." Lily walked over the the table that Clarissa was at and had a seat.... "Hey how're u guys... Samantha are u alright?"

"Hey Lily," Clarissa smiled over at her. "I thought you were busy today, I'm glad you could stop by." Clarissa wrapped Lily in a hug and then looked back at Samantha.

IC: Lily hugged Clarissa back tightly "I was.... but work let me off early... so.... coffee sounded good..." Lily smiled slightly then redirected her attention to Samantha...

*Sam smiled weakly and looked at them, her large emerald eyes filling with tears.* "I'm really tired, this coffee shop isn't doing very well. The lights are out." *She sighed tiredly* " To tell you the truth I don't know if the lights are out because of the storm or if the check bounced."

"It's probably just the storm," Clarissa replied, winking at her. "Come on, now. It'll be alright." Clarissa wiped a tear off of Sam's cheek.

Lily frowns deeply..... "I've got extra money to do nothing with... Sweetie if u need help just ask..." Look over to Clarissa then back to Sam "We're here for u.."

*She smiled a little wider.* "Now tell me dears, what luck do I have that both of you would magically show up to hang out with me. What brings you here?" *Sam looked at each of them, waiting for a response.*

Clarissa laughed jovially. "Todd dumped me. I mean, I know he was cheating on me... but I didn't know he loved her. Oh, well. So here I am. Seems like today would've been better to sleep through, eh?" Clarissa shrugged, gazing into the counter as if some vital code was there that needed to be broken. "So, he kicked me out of the apartment... yeah."

"Jesus Christ.... He's such a sleeze ball anyway..... Come live with me Clarissa i've got the room..... in fact hell u should come live with me too Sam.... i'm the only one whos havin a good day... geeze.... got out of work early..... still have a job.... am single... such an up.... and i want coffee..." Smile at the both of them

*Sammy laughed and looked up as the lights came back on.* "Coffee....I can do coffee. Now Clarissa...he's a jerk, I mean he doesn't matter. 'Sides I'm, a much better lay. Now Lily, you better be careful I'll take you up on that offer." *She winked at both of them and started up the coffee.*

"Nah, it was my fault, really. Todd's wonderful..." Clarissa shrugged. "Thank you Lily, that's sweet of you. Are you sure there's enough room? I'll just stay there until I can find another place."

Lily giggles at Sam and then pinches Clarissa's arm.. "Oh please girl, its lonely livin by urself sometimes u know? Screw it, move in, make urself at home... Stay as long as u want... I dont give a damn... Besides what are friends for?..... Oh and it SO wasnt ur fault.... And Sam's got a point.. she IS a much better lay.." Lily laughed with delight as she looked at Clarissa....

*Sam smiled and brought the two of them coffee and another hot chocolate for herself. She sighed happily, just their presence made her feel better. She'd always have tomorrow to worry about bills.*

"Alright," Clarissa nodded. "I'll be glad to live with you, Lily." She looked back at Sam and took a sip of the coffee she'd prepared. "What time do you get off work, Sam?"

Scarlett knocked on the door of the coffee shop, not noticing the open sign. She shook her head and her mane of red curls splashed water all around her. She smiled. She was only happy when it rained. She spun around in a circle and her denim coat flailed around. Scarlett's buxom upper body was encase in a tight black and greed striped tank top. Her long legs were very visible due to the fact that her denim skirt barely covered her thighs. She looked inside the glass, still oblivious to the fact that the open sign was up.

Ronin walked down the street holding his raincoat's hood over his head
Soon he noticed a woamn standing outside of a shop
"Hello there.." he said as he walked closer "This shop opened?"

Scarlett turned around in surprise. "I was trying to figure that out myself..." She noticed the open sign. "Durr..apparently so." She opened the door and held it for the man. "What's your name?"

Clarissa looked outside. "More customers." She strode over to the door and let them in. "The shop's open, of course." She shot them a winning smile. "Come on in."

"I'm Ronin"
He replied as he walked in with the woman
"You?"

Lily gets up from her seat... "Come on Sam customers... i'll help make what ever they want....." Lily walks into the back of the shop and throws on a white apron identical to the one Sam wore with the logo of the shop on it.... She then took her place behind the counter and watched the man and woman interact....

Scarletts heels clicked on the floor as she entered behind Ronin. "My name's Scarlett. What crazy weather we have today!" Scarlett walked up to the counter. "I'll have a mocha latte with a shot of expresso." she giggled, "I like to live dangerously,ooo, and a chocolate chip muffin please."

Ronin follows Scarlett to the counter
"Just coffee for me."

Lily nods to Scarlett with a grin at her comment... and goes off to make Scarlett's drink...

*Sam smiled at Ronin.* "We have different sizes here love, but for you? Hmmm I'm guessing a grande?" *She laughed and started the fun coffee making process. She looked over at Clarisaa.* "Whenever I want. I don't know, looks like we're getting customers, so I'll keep it open, hoping for a rush."

Lily walks over to Sam and bumps hips with her as she talks to Clarissa...... She then does a little dance around Sam smirking all the while....... then runs off giggling back to the drink she was making for Scarlett.....

Scarlett smiled. "I'm happy that you people are so nice. It's a comfort for me because I've just recently moved here. I like it here though. It's a nice change from where I used to live. Hey, does this town have a library? I've been dying to get a new book but I haven't seen a book store or a library. It's been a month since I've really read and that's too, too long for me," she paused, "Look at me. I always have a habit of continually talking about myself. It must be quite annoying. That's the one habit I've never been able to break." Scarlett's hair went into her face as she leant over, but she fixed it with a hair flip. "It's funny that I have red hair and my name's Scarlett. By the way I'm named after the Clue character, not Scarlett O'Hara." She giggled and flashed her pearly whites.

Lily looked at Scarlett oddly... then smiled.. "Are u sure u need all this sugar hon?" Lily placed Scarlett's drink on the counter. "Hey Sam how much do u want me to charge this girl?"

Ronin too looked over to Scarlett
"There's a library over on 5th Street.. But it will be closed for a while for repaires on the roof.."

Scarlett smiled, "Just take this ten. Keep the change as a tip." She anticipated quizzical looks so she automatically said, "It's my ex's money. Excuse my manners..How are you girls?"

Lily laughs joyously "Fantastic spirit u have girl..... Guys suck... No offense" Lily said looking over at Ronin... "I'm doing great, got out off work early... as for these two... well.... i'll let them tell their stories..."

"None taken"

*Sam smiled at Scarlett, any extra money was definitely needed.* "No comment is the best answer I can give, unless you want an all night discussion on it." *She smiled politely and retied her apron*

Scarlett smiled and said, "Well I have plenty of time right now and no friends in this town so I'm all ears."
