So, whenever my friends and I watch vampire movies I get grape juice (the kind that comes in cans) and when i'm told to add three of the cans of water, I only add 2.5 or so, so there's this nice very grapey dark red solution. Then we call it blood and make bad jokes. Anyone else do that?

I have a couple times joked around like that with my friends, only not with grape juice. With real blood...their blood. Naw, just joking. (I found it kinda humorous though...) But the REAL reason I'm replying is to your quote, I myself am a vegetarian, and I found that quote HILARIOUS!!! um....that's all.....bye now!

It's even better if you keep it in a ceremonial bottle.

I have on many occasions! Cranberry juice, grape juice, raspberry tea brewed hot then iced with a little black tea makes a wonderful dark red liquid.
It helps a little to have large bowl wine glasses on hand as well, the liquid clings to the lip so nicely..... :)
btw - it also freaks out your coworkers quite nicely when you have raspberry tea brewed dark in a mug that says "to be used only for blood". :)

okay, then. this must be something that australians just don't hear about. i did hear though that the fake blood in buffy/angel is just a heap of strawberry nesquik and a bit of water.

I think that the consistancy of your juices is a bit lacking. I suppose it would be interesting to try some dark red jello, thinned out just a little when you are making it.

I think that if you take blueberries and freeze them it makes a good side dish to that lovely vampire juice we so enjoy to make up. Plus, it makes the drink taste better cause it makes your tongue sensitive.

I think I'm going to do this - get an ornate gold chalice and pour cranberry juice in it....drink it while watching a vampire movie, and let the blood drip from my mouth ala Christopher Lee...mwahaha
