Cosette meandered down the hallway. This was her father's manor, but her father had been killed. His bloodied corpse still rested upstairs. She hadn't screamed. Where was the killer?

coming out of a room standing in the dark. he cleaned this blade as he ran down the hall looking for anyone else..

Cosette ducked into a hall closet and shut the door quietly... Perhaps the killer wouldn't find her in here... She closed her eyes and hid behind the coats and sweaters and assorted miscellaneus items in the closet...

walking down the walls looking in all the doors. he came to a door at the end of the hall. he opened quickly and looked in. all he saw were coats, and assortments. he closed it and walked on looking in other rooms.

Cosette breathed a sigh of relief as the killer left her closet alone. She climbed out and crept down the hall to the phone. She had to call 9-1-1. She lifted the phone and punched in the numbers quickly, and pressed the receiver to her ear... And then dropped the phone in fear. The line was dead.

the man heard the phone dropp and ran out of a bedroom and started to run down the hall towards the girl.

Cosette knew there was no point in screaming. She raced down the hall towards the dining room and picked up a knife of her own. She clawed at the door to the outside, but it was locked- from the outside. This was one smart murderer. "Why did you kill my father?!" She screamed at the murderer. She knew it would be useless to beg for mercy from the hands of a killer, so she only wanted an answer...

running down to the kitchen, he stood there looking at the girl. " you wanna know why i killed your lovign father. because he shouldnt have tried to hit my daughter inthe street yesterday. he swerved on purpose and tried to hit her. so i got the plate number and i ran it through the computer and i got this address. now im going to kill you and your cat."

"My father... was anything but loving!" Akora narrowed her eyes in anger. "Did he hurt your daughter?" Her voice was shaking a little, she hated to hear of the others her father hurt... "Listen, sir, my name is Akora... and it won't be so easy to kill me..."

"I'm sorry," Cosette murmured softly. "Yes, my panther... a shape-shifting feline." Cosette laughed softly to herself, watching her panther carefully and studying her father's murderer. "I'll go with you to the hospital if you want..." Cosette closed her eyes. "I'm... a healer..."
