I have seen many movies and the ways to sire new vampires is different betwen them depending on the movie. So I was wondering do you think that it is better when a human must only be bitten to be turned into a vampire or should they have to be bitten and then have their blood drained to the point of deth and then swallow a subtantial amount of the vampire's to be turned? I would like to know what you think would better. Thanks

i always like the idea of the sire giving a bit of his blood to his new progeny. i never did like the idea of someone just being drained and then rising as a vampire. the blood giving just seems a bit more magical and intimate.

If the goal of vampirism was simply to create massive numbers then the One bite = Vampire would work fine.
Personally I go with the Bite twice + Giving of blood = Vampire method. To me it makes more sense. This implies that the one doing the biting would, infact, want that person specificly to be a vampire, not just decide that they needed a horde to follow them around. This also lends itself to the idea that vampires are just a touch more human that monster but again, my personal opinion.
