Dark Goddess
Someone please tell me about vamps. REAL vamps.
Jolly_Roger
Well, that depends on how you define the term...
Saturn9
Vampires are a mythical creature of fiction.
Like all fiction, the creature appears as you want it to.

You define your own vampire, there is no REAL version.

This may sound really over-the-top bitchy, but if you don't know what a vampire is, why in the name of Hecate are you here? I mean, everyone who visits/joins this site know what a vampire is, and what they can and cannot do (to a certain extent). forgive me for my catty attitude :meow:

Unless you're an undead revenant which drinks blood, is weak in sunlight, has a fear of garlic, and uses a cool accent, like "svorting vround". Then, you'll be it.

real vampires? The closest thing to real vampires are psy-vampires and HLVs (human living vampires) basicly humasn that use and absorb energy from other humans (psi. or psychic) and HLVs, your avrage everyday person with no extra ordinary tallents that feels the need to drink blood, sort of like Renfield in the Dracula movies
dreams of death
Dark Goddess> A Bit of advice look around the boards and topics. Develop your own idea of a Vampyre, as there is no actual proven description of a vampyre, no matter what oppinions people have.

There is the idea of a HLV - which as already said is a 'HUMAN LIVING VAMPYRE'
kind of explains itself, a human who drinks blood.
PSY VAMP - human that absorbs energy
These are the 'Real' Vampyre's

There are also fictional characters such as 'Dracula' and Lestat' etc. These have their own descriptions. Read the books or watch the films to find them.
