As Mathew notices that the man he's been following had just slipped out of his sight Mathew turned his attention to the woman who had gotten in the way for the last time as Mathew let himself feel the hunger rise within him his eyes started to change as he picked the woman up by her shoulders he lifted her over the edge of the building and gave her a coice of how she died being dropped over the side of the dam or sucked dry

"Go ahead," the woman narrows her eyes fearlessly. "Try dropping me over." She swallowed, looking down and a sickness welling up in her stomach. She shook her head. "I'm sorry."

A woman came walking by. She stopped as she saw a man holding on to a woman who had obviously tried to jump off the building. She started screeming hysterically for someone to help the man pull her back up, but decided she wouldn't wait 'till someone else showed up and ran into the building and up the stairs. She was out of breath by the time she got to the roof. She hung onto the doorframe, gasping for air...

Charlotte notices a woman coming towards them. "Oh Matthew, look. Someone here to spoil your plan," Charlotte almost slipped out of his arms, the sickness in her stomach welling up again.

looking from the building across from them he laughed to himself. " that is one hell of a way to die. oh well not worth the stregth to get up off of this comfortable gargoyle." petting the head of the gargoyle as it came to life like something out out of a movie. as he set there the gargoyle took off away from the roof. flying to the other roofs getting a better look." well this is taking to long " yellin," DROP HER OR BITE HER i dont have all day for "gods" sake"

Charlotte sighed, how many people were going to stand by and watch her die without helping? She would simply have to help herself. She pulled her weight back, almost slipping out of Matthew's arms and caught onto the building. She was going to have to find a way to get out of Matthew's grip. She pulled at his arm with both of her hands, but a vampire's strength was nothing to hers.

leaning down on his gargoyle he whispered into her ear. instantly the gargoyle took flight and ran into the woman on the building tearing her from the mans grip. as she hung on the front Z( my name at the moment abb.) pulled her up and flew into the night too a house that he had.

Charlotte lept off of the gargoyle as they reached Z's house. It was so sudden. She eyed him suspiciously. "Thank you..."

" he was taking to long to drop you so i just took you then instead of waiting. your welcome. what is your name?"

"Charlotte," she murmured, nodding. "What may I call you, sir?" She extended a hand, offering a handshake. "Why were you there? Not that I'm not grateful, but... why did you save me?"

kneling down and kissing her hand." being around as long as i have i have seen many a people tortured and beated and lynched for no reason and i just sit around and watch for those kind of things. my name is Z and her name is Swinber."pointing to the gargoyle." he will be back to get you and prob. get me as well.

"Yes, Matthew doesn't give up easily," Charlotte blushes as Z kisses her hand.

"well he cant enter here there is no way possible to get into there unless you know how and im the only one who knows how to get in." walking around the back and about 100 yards east of the house. taking her and jumping into a hole in the ground that was totally invisible to anything. it looked like the ground and only the people that Z was touching could go in everyone else would just walk over it. he walked back toward the house. but it was under ground right above the house.

The woman stood in the doorway, shocked. What she saw was not at all possible...
"What in God's name..."she whispered. The man that had been holding that poor woman was now staring at her, a furious expression on his face. As he advanced towards her, the blood drained from her face....His eyes were red! She pannicked and opened her mouth to scream....nothing came out!

A tall woman came behind the woman in the doorway "oh here you are and thanks for leaveing me at the..." she sees the mans eyes and looks at the woman her friend and then at the man "....what the hell?, erm yeh nice contacts fella." she sounded amused but grabbed her friend "come on i said id by you a drink" she pushed her friend a little so she would walk down the steps.

OOC: hey, where would we be in this wold if we didn't have friends? Sure! ^_^

Leila readily joined her friend. She flew down the stairs, and kept looking back to see if the man was following them. Only when Piper was starting to stumble did she realise that she had been pulling her friend with her.
"Oh, sorry." she said, slowing down.

"jesus girly you look like youve seen a ghost" Piper laughed a little but couldnt help look back as they headed down the stairs "what were you and that man doing?" and alarmed look came on her face "he wasnt trying to hurt you was he?" she always jumped to conclusions "cause ill kill him if he did"

"To tell you the honest truth, I have no clue what I just saw! God, I need a drink! No I need twenty for that matter!" she replied

Piper had a puzzeled look on her face "hun you sound like youve had a bit to much to drink already, come on everyone knows what they see like they say seeing is beliveing" she laughed "do you want me to go to that guy and ask him who he is?"

"NO!" she said, apalled and terrified."No. Ahem, Lets just walk as fast as we can to the nearest bar. Okay?"

"that contact lenses dude realy freeked you out didnt he?" she rolled her eyes "ok lets go then we dont want you getting scared do we" Piper teased her friend like she always did.

Leila was grateful that Piper, for once, dropped the subject.

"What about that place over there?" she pointed to a cheery-looking place. 'Looks decent enough." She was now seriously wondering whether she saw what she saw...

"yeh ok ive never been there before, could be fun" she walked over to the doors but stopped outside them and looked at her black short skirt and red small sleveless top that said bite me in tiny white letters on the back and showed of her clevage "am i dressed right for this place?"

"Never mind about that now." she said looking behind her again. "Come" She pulled her friend into the bar, relief flooding her from head to toe. They would be safe here...

"geez cant one be self concious in your pressance my dear friend?" she took the bobble out of her long brown hair when it fell it didnt look curly but it didnt look straight "serously are you ok? would you like me to take you home?"she said as she sensed her friends mood.

"Er, no, I'm fine, I think..." she said, plonking herself down at the bar. She was fine in the true essence of the word:
Fucked up,
Insecure,
Neurotic, and
Emotional!

"What do you wasn to drink?" she asked her freind.

"Vodka and coke but ill get it as i said id buy you a few drinks" she ordered a Vodka and coke and Leilas faveret drink when the drinks came Piper turned to face her friend "yeh im sure you are FINE" seeing the look on Leilas face she said "Allright ill drop it"

Leila had a few more drinks before she felt able to tell Piper what she saw.
"I'm telling you, Piper, they were not human. NOT HUMAN, I say! that was some freeky shit back there..." she took another gulp of her drink.

Piper seeing how Leila reacted to what she had seen, she wasnt going to tell her friend that she knew dead things could actualy walk about "oh come on you know im a great beliver in science, being not human is impossable" she lied "you must have passed out or something or maybe there was a gass leak was up on the roof and well gass makes people see funny things"

"Ooohhh, no! There wasn't no 'gass leak'" leila rolled her eyes, then grabbed Pipers shirt and pulled her closer to stare her in the eyes. "I'm telling you: I saw what I saw, and I know that what I thought I saw was something I actually saw! If you saw what i saw, then you'd know that what I saw, I saw..."
Leila was looking very serious, oblivious to the fact that she sounded rediculous.

"well gas leaks do make things seem so very real, remember me telling you about the gas leak at my works...i mean jeez them people were crazy already and the gas knocked out all the doctors... mad people running around killing each other....lucky i was ill that day" it had been all over the news but it was no gass leak like they said "if i was you id lay of the alchol, you already sound crazy" she was only speaking truth at this point " you be careful you dont tell anyone what you saw or else i might end up your regular doctor"

Leila let go of her friend and sighed, suddenly uncertain about herself - which was saying something, for she was always sure of herself. "Maybe you're right. I have been feeling rather off-ish lately." she layed her head on her arms."I don't know what has come over me..."

"ahh its ever so easy to figure you out dear friend, you are clearly following an emotional pattern that is normal for someone ....." she looked at her friend "ohh im sorry i promissed not to do that any more....More drinks please...want another couple of drinks?" she had a way of stearing conversations in the way she wanted "ill have some more vodkas....wait no ill just have 1....wait no ill have 2" she said to the bartender

OOC: er, you'll have to help me in this drinking thing....I don't drink so I dunno what to order...

IC: Leila drained the last of her drink and ordered another one. "You know, Piper, I never thought I'd say this, but one of your sermons on my psycological state would be quite helpful at the moment..."

ic-Piper looked at her friend in kind of shock "girly you realy arnt your self today" she sipped her drink "your just confused maybe its to do with what ever you saw tonight or maybe its about something deeper like your childhood or how youve been treated by people, and your subconcious(sp?) is useing what happened tonight to deal with your problems...id need more time to evaluate you" she sipped her drink even though she had drunk a lot she didnt feel drunk

looking at the girl." stay here ill be back i have to do something." getting on his gargoyle and flying to a local bar he went to on occasions. walking in the bar he noticed alto of drunks and two girls that were semingly firmiliar. "oh well." walking to his usual seat and ordering his bottle of JD. he sat there listening to the music and trying to relax.

Leila turned to look at the entering customer, as she did every time someone came in. At first she didn't recognise him, then...
It felt as if all the air had been knocked out of her. She gasped for breath and clutched onto Pipers hand."I..It's..It's..'s..h..h..him!" she managed to get out, still not able to breathe.

finishing that whole bottle of JD like it didnt effect him he heard something and waited with the bottle in his hand ready to stike anyone.

"hun whats wrong?" she turned to the bartender "what are you like 5 give her a fuckin bag its obvous she hiperventalating (sp?)" Piper screamed at him when he looked about "you know take your time man" she snatched the bag from the man and gave it to her friend "take deep breaths and dont talk" she lead her friend to a small table "we need to get you to a doctor" she waved at the seat "sit" she checked Leila`s pulse "thats way to fast" she said shakeing her head trying to stay calm "if you feel dizzy put your head between your legs"

Leila did what her friend said, breathing into the bag, her eyes watering. She was shaking violently, but had recovered enough to whisper:"It's him, one of the monsters I saw...he's come to kill me...kill me..." Leila's eyes were wide with terror and her lip trembled as she spoke. She made herself as small as she could and hoped the man, or whatever he was hadn't seen her....

She looked at the man and then looked back at her freind "hunny ive protected you before and ill do it again. if this man attacks you ill attack him and you know i can defend my self and even others. " she whispers "what me to take you home? i shouldnt have brought you hear im sorry"

"NO! No...er..no...if we leave now, he'll see us...."she whispered, terrified once again. "I don't think even you would stan a chance against him, Piper. He is a monster! I saw him fly a hidious winged deamon with glowing eyes...and he grabbed the girl who was dangling over the edge of the building, away from the man with the red eyes who was trying to save her...or I think he was trying to save her...I'm not sure anymore.....oh, why did i have to walk in on the whole scene?..." she sobbed.

"ok im gona levil with you, you sound so fuckin crazy. seriously bad thing to say to a shrink even if i am your friend" she sighed her green eyes scanned the room to see if anyone was looking "look ok" she turned back to her friend "youve seen me fight right? well youve seen me knock a big fat biker guy over with one punch what makes you think i cant handle an imortal" she quickly looked away and cursed at herself for saying that "what i mean is.. this guy just sounds like an imortal you know the ones in movies and books...of course he aint a real imortal or demon..that would be crazy" she lied. "why exactly were you on the roof? i mean we agreed that we`d meet up the street" Piper tossed some of her brown hair over her shoulder more in thought than anything else.

"Well, I was on my way to meet you. I just happened to look up, and saw a woman dangling over the edge of the building. A man was holding on to her. I assumed she tried to jump and that he was trying to pull her back up. I shouted for people to help, but nobody came, so I run up to the roof to help him..." she said between her sobbs.

"Tissues now" she said to the bar tender "oh hun you could do nothing..."she smiled at the bartender who handed her a tissue "thanks" she looked at Leila and tryed to reasure her "you couldnt do nothing"

Leila nodded and took the tissue, then blew her nose."..And then when I got to the top, wierd things started to happen...and he" she pionted the man out with her head. "came flying an deamon, like I said, and grabbed the woman and flew away....And if you hadn't come, I think I would have been a gonner...That guy with the red eyes look mighty angry...."

sitting there listening to the whole conversation and watching the poor girl cry. thinknig about going over there and fucking with tath poor girl. decideing to just sit there and watch more.

"he took of on a flying demon? ok im thinking gas leak again either that or your mind has gone...far far away" Piper frowned "i can prescribe you some pills if you want" she knew that Leila wouldnt like that "ok you realy have to help me out here....what would make you more calm, what can i do to help you?" she shivered and turned and looked at the man then back to her friend "i think we should go" she shivered again.

"...Erm..um..Okay...yes, you can take me home. Maybe it was only a gass leak.." Leila said, her voice trembling. "I want to go home and sleep..."

She looks at her friend knowning ful well that Leila didnt belive it was a gass leak "would you like me to stay with you just for tonight? i promise i wont go all shrink on ya" she says getting up and escorting Leila out of the bar the cold air hitting her face "oh thank god! it was so hot in that place" she wondered weather she was ill or something because lately she had been running a high temparature and complaining about it being to hot but other people whould tell her it was cold " your house is that way aint it?" she pointed to a dirrection
