I took ym little cousin to see Shrek 2 tonight, it was pretty damn funny. Just like the original it had plenty of Adult humour. Unlike the first one there wasn't as many fart jokes (thank god). If you have a little 'un or just want to see a funny movie go and see Shrek 2 this summer....you won't be disappointed.

saw it funny, all though I thaught most the humour was only funny if you knew the reference it came from and not so funny to a little kid who you would think it was directed to. Alot of supposed kids comedy movies have been like that recently.

OMFG that movie was hilarious! The first one was good, the second one kicked ass! The one I liked the most was Puss, b/c how could you not like that adorable tabby cat? *smirks* Especially when it acts like Zorro!

Puss in Boots actually reminded me of the Puss in Boots from the olde cartoon movie "Puss in Boots" except with a different accent,
why I liked it, I actually did like the old "Puss in Boots" movie. which seeing the old one explaines why the cat would be recommended for takeing down an Ogre.

That movie was HILARIOUS!! I took my little brother to see it against my own will cuz I thought it was gonna suck ass, but it didn't! I got my money's worth. lol I LOVED the part where they're freeing Shrek and Donkey (warning: kind of a Spoiler) and that one mouse or whatever it was goes:
"It's a THONG!" *snap* lol.
Ahem, anyway, yeah, it's good. Everyone should go see it. =]

i'm still planning on watching the movie, but i thought i'd drop a comment in reply to rhuen's post.
i've noticed the increasing amount of adult jokes in kids movies too. i think that's a way of providing more incentive for parents to take their kids to movies, because they're more likely to get a kick out of it as well.
my 9-year-old brother whom i'll be going with is not going to understand any adult-oriented jokes, but he's still going to enjoy the hell out of the movie... mostly because he's as compulsive about computer graphics as i am. he'll be staring in disbelief at the quality of the modelling and texturing (especially the bump maps) and the lighting and all that.
point is, he'll get something out of the movie for sure, but a parent taking a child to the movie will probably get a kick out of it as well. it just increases the chances of it being good entertainment and value for money.
sorry to ramble, just thought i'd pitch in my

worth :D

in Boots*
yes, this character did steal the movie. but Thongism was a close second
definitly an excelently made movie. although, i liked the first better because it left more to the imagination. i have yet to hear a bad comment on it
did anyone see the show on VH1 about the way the second was made? it was very insightful

i thought shrek 2 was just as good, if not better, than the first. it was one of those RARE excellent sequals! i loved it! lots of older humor, but still okay for the little ones.

Personally, I thought Shrek 2 was better than the first. I thought it was cool how they showed what shrek looks like as a person. But yeah....so funny.

It was funny....BUT....there's always a but......I thought the previous one was better...it had more body, and felt more like a story, and the characters grew a lot more than in the second movie....i dunno....that's just my opinion...hehe
