if anyone has seen underworld you should know what i am talking about. in order for "Michael" to live, "Selena" had to bite him even though he was already a werewolf. if it is possible, how can you transform into both? :frankie:

There's an old story that a "werewolf in life, is a vampire in death".
Becoming a werewolf isn't hard, it's a form of ritual shapeshifting from a magic-imbued belt or coat from a wolf.
Could a vampire do this?
Well, I dont see why a vampre COULDN'T do this, but I dont think they would...considering a vampire is a bloodthirsty corpse.

wasnt there an eppisode of Scooby Doo (or somethng like that) that had a war between vampires and werewolves that kept on turning each other, over and over again throught the show?
Anyway the bit that applys to this that they were either one or the other, vampire or werewolf not both at the same time. (hey its fiction, cartoons are as good of a source as any)

maybe entropy was referring to that episode of "Ghost Busters" where at the end the vampires and werewolves had a brawl.

Well, I write about the suppernatural, and in my own fictional version of the world, both vampires and werewolves exsit, but they do not fight eachother, since it is not in the nature of either creature to cause war (my vampires a solitary and care only for their existence and werewolves, though "pack-animals" are also only concerned for the pack).
My werewolves do not become werewolves as the result of a bite, it is not an unwilling transformation. Werewolves become werewolves via the use of spells, but such procedures are addictive and the experience of being a werewolf is so thrilling that a werewolf transforms again and again upon the cycles of the moon though, of course.
If one of my werewolves was to be made a vampire, the addiction to being a werewolf would be replace with the rapture of blood drinking and thus they would give up lycanthropy.
But remember, this is in my fictional mythos, and of course, vampires and werewolves are not real, beyond mythology, literature, film and popular culture. Also remember, this is my retelling of both vampire and werewolf myths and if you want to write about vampires and werewolves, dont steal my ideas.

Yeah that movie was quite awesome. And about this thread, I have trouble believing that a vampire could become mixed with a werewolf for the simple fact that a vampire is a corpse right so the cells are dead, so therefore the wolf blood would have nothing to couteract, thus nothing would happen, and vise versa. Feel free to give oppinion.

hmmm....in all of the stories (movies) i have heard of, being both vampire and werewolf is not possible. the way i see it, vampires are (un)dead, werewolves are living creatures.
even fiction stories have thier limitations. :cofpap:
*looses train of thought and blames this on LordAlvarius*
my point is....vampries are (un)dead...werewolvesare living.
??? yeah well...you're brain would be disfunctional too if you had no sleep at all last night!

Even though it is his own interpretation i really liked Manfred Dracharn's explanation of if a vampire could be both vampire and werewolf.
