I am constantly taking energy from those around me, I gain it from their emotions... but drawing energy... I can go about a week or two of litteraly drawing energy from another sorce other then myself.

(I am going to answer this anyways, because I drink blood on ocassion) sometimes, if I am alone, and feel the need for blood... I use my own... but if possible, I drink others blood... but never against their will.

I get weak or tired and disconnected (i have been feeling this reacently expecialy). I can usualy not function (physicaly or mentaly) as well as I can when I have fed. I get stomach aches sometimes and my head becomes clouded (numb headaches?) My defences also go down quite a bit... so it is easier for demons to attack me, but rarely to I get sick because I have a good amune system.

4)How many times a month or year do you drink blood or get energy?
I have no idea, I never count.... I usualy take energy or blood four to six times a month... and if I feel the need (which is not very often) more.

5) How old were you when you awakened?
Honestly... thirteen, fourteen... it seems like not a long time ago.

I was born a sanguine and here are my answers.

Maybe a week or two without blood...

I use a donor. I wouldn't drink my own blood unless I happen to cut myself on accident or something. Really if you think about it, a vampire willingly drinking his/her own blood is like a cow eating a hamburger that was made from itself.

When I don't have blood I feel drained. I feel physically and mentally weak to the point where it is hard to get out of bed. My nightmares and visions may get worse, and I pass out easily.

I don't count.

I was fourteen when I had my awakening, which I hear can be quite early for most vampires.

I cant tell you 100 % sure but it is about 1 week Max , however i do PSI feed alot of the time , without feeding and or blood it would be about 2 days MAX.

1. it depends on the type of blood, since different types sustain the hunger for different lengths of time, but anywhere from 1 week to 3-4 months. Note' all vampyres are capable of empathic feeding/ feeding on emotions. but depending on the breed, determines how much control one has , for the most part with me, this is an involutary vampyric reflex which i can't control and it works under specific conditions (mainly i have to be the cause of the emotional reaction/energy that i'm feeding on, and the closer the better), and these only last about 24 hours, (and we can't -as far as my breed is concerned- subsist on emotions alone as sustenance, to do so would be comperable to trying to live off alcohol, one would drink themselves to death but not be too aware of it); and just to clarify empathic feeding is not the same thing as psychic feeding

2. since sangs use donors and i don't , i hunt for my prey/ whether this be animal or human.

3. since my body's abilty to sustain hemoglobin as well as it's ability to produce it's only blood supply is greatly impaired, due to the virus; i tedn to suffer from any number of physical ailments, ranging from insomnia and emotional instability to severe anemia, fatigue, increased sensitivity to sunlight as well as severe migraines, and the temporary increase and difficulty to even loss of the ability to eat or digest human foods, and eventually if i can't feed and get regular infusions of frsh blood in my system, i would enter a state of shock and then slip from that into a coma, and then die.

4. as i stated in answer #1 it depends on what i fed on last.

5. being of the immortal breed, i never went through an Awakening, that is something that sangs endure because the vampyrism virus is in a gene form and thus part of their dna from conception, only to be kicked into a active dominant state caused by the hormonal imbalance cause bythe puberty cycle; i was infected and thus turned through the process of mutation that the virus causes, and that happened when i was 18, but that was a very, very long time ago

human energy is not aura persay any how
one does not need said energies to survive but most enjoy the Empowerment gained from said theft/taking /partaking of anothers energies.
few truely are in need of said energies.
there is a select few genetic sanguine that do indeed need this for the weekness in there DNA strand. upon drinking blood they assist this weekness its is like taking IRON pills for the anemic
though there are pills that will assist them also.
the truth be told most either enjoy the rush obtained and or upon partaking of human blood enough gain an addiction to said fluids. just as the cannables are addicted to human flesh..it is a mental disorder obtained from partaking of human flesh/blood.
psi vamps do not need energy to survive but like cigarets it is still an addicting plesure to partake in

A - I dont use blood. though i think it does have a sort of primal appeal, like sex. its very basal and invigorating, but i dont *need* blood for the energy. Incidently, if you drank your own blood how could that bennefit you? I mean you're only recycling what you've lost...

A - Put chronic fatigue, arthritus, and depression, in a blender... then pour an innabillity to focus your thoughts on top of that.

I think that you should try to respect these differences the best you can. And if they are lying, why even bother making posts about how idiotic or unbelievable their claims sound? If they are really the kind of people that would lie about something like that, just to get attention, why even bother to waste your time making insulting posts? 1. I'm half vampire... I can go for months without energy. But it's horrible after a sunny day. It's funny I saw this thread today. I have to feed these days... *smiles angelic*

2. Not being a sang, but I don't use energy donors. Never had, although I had the chance...

3. Very tired, eyes burn, slow breathing, sometimes I can't even walk straight. With the sun in my face I can't see nothing 2 meters in front of me. Slow brain activity, but that is compensated by my human side. Slow reflexes, alwasy sleepy.

4. Like I said, I can and actually go without energy for months. I feed only when I encounter one that deserves a psi attack or when my energy resource is depleted and then I feed on the ones that I fed before.

5. 18 and 10 months. That was 1 year and almost 4 months ago...

well, i can go 1 month without energy. TOPS!!!!I don't have any donors....I tend to get tired,moody,agitated, and hateful when i don't get energy. I feed off of energy about 2 times a month and about 16 times ayear. I awakened when I was 14, but I have been around for quite some time, I hope I could have helped!

Hmm I wonder something, can someone still be a vampyre and get a sense of energy from blood yet they do not feel the craving or thirst until certain moments or thoughts?

I'll give you a scenario, two lovers male and female, during their intimate moments (perhaps not even needing ot be intimate) one drinks from the other and they suddenly feel a immense flush of energy roll through their body like lightning and feel a atrocity of deep emotion and connection with their lover..and they then crave the blood of their lover there on yet do not drink regularily but just during their intimate moments.

I know I have psi in me but I mainly have a connection with certain people, think the same thoughts and of course their emotion can influence mine (perhaps I take in their emotion and feed it to my own) and or relationship wise it can be quite powerful both connecting with that person (if I choose for us to subconciously, if you can understand that or make sense of it) and feeding off their presence and their emotion..a thing that can be absolutely wonderous and at times very dark so I am being extremely careful with all and have a better grasp on it.

As for my sang inquirement, surely there must be a type of vamp or just a handful or so of vamps who only feed and feel this way..surely we cannot have limits to say who is what without being them and feeling it.

I follow many stereotypical hints of vampires though..hmm just a tad lost in it all, just a tad bit.

2) Seeing as I don't really rely on blood that much, I find it as self inflicted as it is from donors, I do prefer donors to using myself though.

Come on who in the hell would believe a vamp attacked him/her, and then there is the fact, why would they say anything ? PPL will think them crazy if they do at all

I don't think the police reports would be filled out as "vampire suspect attacked victim, assauting victim with teeth".

I think it would be filled out "suspect attacked victim, assaulting victim with teeth".

In other words, the victim wouldn't be saying that the attacker was a vampire. The victim would just believe he was attacked by a looney who bit them. How would the victim or police know that the attacker calls him/herself a vampire? I'm sure that at the police department, they would be joking about the wannabe vampire attacker, but that's the extent of it. After the attacker was found (trust me, you kids saying you run around and attack victims in this hunt would NOT be able to hide evidence, mostly due to the fact that you don't even know what evidence would be used against you and the fact that if you really did hunt someone and attack them and were stupid enough to talk about it online, you're stupid enough to not hide evidence), in court the judge would not give half a fuck if you say you are a vampire and you're immortal or anything else stupid and juvenile. He'd simply look at the fact that you assaulted someone with your TEETH of all things. You'd recieve a decent sentence, "vampire" or not.

So... no... they would not believe it was a vampire that attacked them, mostly because it would never be brought up in the first place because they have no reason to magically know you call yourself a vampire at the moment you attack them. And no, they would not care you label yourself a vampire, because it does not matter.

Enough talk about hunting. As I said before, if anyone claims to have hunted, I want proof. I want a court case number AND signed permission to do a criminal background check on the member who claims it, since they served time for assault. If the member would not give this proof, then either they are full of shit OR they chose to confess to me on a crime they have not been punished for. If they are confessing, I've no problem in assisting them in finiding the proper authorities to confess to.

If they are "hunting" by using a willing donor... then this is not hunting at all. Do not use "hunt" to describe using a willing donor any more.
