Alright, I was talking to my special lady friend about vampire lore and I brought up a creature that I remembered reading about who was human in appearance, but often black and very fast. The being would creep out of the forrests and into the vilages at night, killing livestock (mostly) and wayward humans.
I assume this was some celtic creature, but none of my research has turned up anything I've described.

What's more, she described a similar creature from the middle east, but it had wings. This was pre-monotheism, and was later merely passed off as a demon.
Does this have a name? It came out of a night time storm, and moved very fast, kind of like a black Wendigo.

Third, I was reminded of the stories of pigmy cannibals within the heart of Africa. These were obviously imbeleshed stories by European explorers, and...I know this sounds cheesy...but the best representation of this creature was the pigmies in "The Mummy Returns". A cool story, but I'm not sure this has any true myth to it.

Is there a connection between these legends?
And what the hell is the first monster?

due to a current Virus problem I am un-able to access my archives, I should have things back to normal in a week and check on that. and that means I wont be adding anything to the otherkin section in a while too "and I had alot more information"
Saturn9
By all means, when you're able to access your archives, I look forward to any and all information you may have.

I have my secondary isolated archives but they are very specific with stuff I can mostly recall off the top of my head but they don't have anything fitting this description. So I will check when I can.
The Angelus
In theory vampires are hunters in a sense so people can classify them as carnivores, although I firmly believe that is quite a bit of a stretch. I believe vampires to be hunters and just hunters.

Vampires who choose to not supress the demon within, embrace the hunt that which allows them to feed and quench the blood thirst in them. Then there are those vampires that have a sense of morality and strong-willed that are able to supress the demon within and quench their blood thirst through non-violent methods like butcher shops and blood donors and ect...

Yes Angelus, but these are not vampires.

Well I hope I helped.

nothing new from the last five years on Chupacabra but please keep that in the South of the borders demons with any questions, as for Chupacabra anything you would have heard on that Crypto-beasts show or other Sightings type show is all I have, the reports are very repedative and nothing new comes up too often,

also on the winged black monsters I found a picture "that I can't post as its too big" in Egyption mythology and others, it was a monster that flyed about in the western lands of the underworld, it didn't give me a name but showed them helping torture a man with the help of a scorpion man "it called the creature a bat man" I still don't even have the actual name of those scorpion men even though I have ton's of images. "all too big, can the admin's allow for a bigger atachment because most my images are bleeding huge for these things"
