Ice cold wind slowly blows the leaves around as if they are toys for it to play with as the moon cast its seductive light on everything it sees. Couples walks out of the boomin club, Forever Night, and heads to the park. The guy a handsome, brown eyes, fire red hair with black highlights and his black outfit makes his pale white skin even paler. His fire red hair slowly comes down past his ear covering his skull. The girl dress in a black fish net stocking with knee high boots with blue flames going up and her leather skirt and leather trench-coat underneath that her dark red tank top. Her sapphire eyes shines brightly and looks up at her date and smiles gently. She slowly brush her raven black hair out of her eyes. Her skin also pale. She leans over and kisses him gently and pulls back and smiles gently. Her cherry red lips drives him crazy. He stops and pulls her closer and wraps his arms around her hips and kisses her neck gently and whispers sweet romatic things then slowly pulls back.
"Ebony... "
The girl looks at him and smiles slowly then slowly her eyes begins to grow with fear as a shape slowly begin to form behind them. Her date turns around just as the shape come closer. He pulls out his knife that he always have with him. The shape walks closer but still cast in the shadow. The girl starts to pull her date to come with her. As she turns and starts to run another shadow blocks her ways. She looks around and see two more.
"What the fuck... "
"Derrick!!"
Her date wraps his arms around her. And whispers "Don't worry my love..."
She looks around. One of the shadow step into the light and her eyes adjust and to her surprise she notice who the guy is. Her boss... the boss of the Forever Night. The others she had no idea who they are. Confuse she looks at her date, but the look on his face confuse her more. She looks around. Then she hears him start speaking in a weird tongue. Her boss reply then laughs coldly. Then with our warning one of the other shadow attack her and her date causing him to let go of her and she drops to her knee. One of the other shadow grabs her and pin her to the tree. Her date charge him and stab him. The shadow scream and lets her go. But she end up getting hit in the head and black up. Her date meanwhile fight them off. But shot was hear and her date falls to his knee holding his stomach. Her boss leans over and smiles coldly.
"Have a nice death... hunter."
When the girl comes back she finds her date shot, her love... she crawls over to him and holds him and looks around and calls out for help but nobody came. She looks back at him and rubs his cheek. He smiles a little and reach up and touch her cheek back and whispers "I love you Ebony....never forget me..." He coughs up blood from where the bullet hit him. She leans down and kisses him and whispers "You're not going to die..." She founds her cell phone and calls the hostipal. He whimper in pain. She hold his hand and he sqeeuze it a little. She kisses his hand and whispers "Don't leave me... I can't live with you..." He looks up into her eyes.
"Ebony... I'm sorry... I should have told...."
She shakes her head.
"It's ok... I love you...that's all that matter...don't leave me!! Don't leave me... please... You promise.."
He frowns.
"I'm sorry... "
He reach into his pocket and pulls out small little box and hands it to her.
"Take this...know I'll always love you..."
With that his closes his eyes. She shakes him...Crying... tears string down her cheeks. But no use his dead she tells herself. By the time the police alive she wripes her tears.
Time flies by and she is at the police station and just finish answering question. Her heart breaking, she stands up and gives the police a fake smile since they are trying so hard to comfort her she walks out of the door. She looks at her shirt, which is soak with is blood. Ice cold rain slowly starts to fall. She leans against the side of the building and pulls out the box he gave her before he died. In it was a silver with a ruby ring. She starts to cry again. She read what was written on the inside "Forever together... E&D" Then a note slowly falls out as she takes the ring and puts in on her left ring finger. She picks the note up and reads it : "My love... This is just a little I could give up... I never been the same since I meet you and I never want to be again... will you marry me?"
Two years pass...
Alarm clock slowly beings to sing with some out of date band. A pale white hand slowly slides out of the covers and shuts it off. The silver ruby ring still on the finger. Slowly Ebony push off all the covers. She reach her hands over to the left side of her then remember that Derrick is dead. She sigh. She miss how he would be laying right next to her and he would lean over and whispers "Wake up sweet heart it's time to go... wake up little suzy.." Ebony smiles a little. She slowly climbs out of the covers and looks around her... "Their room" Everything is bare without his things. Pictures of them turn face down. She couldn't force herself to get rid of them. She slowly walks to her closest and begins to pull out her outfit for her job, "art restorer."

A knock sounded at the door. A voice could be heard."this id Dante, you called me about your 'missing person'.
OOC:just go along with it.I'll be looking for the killer.

Ebony pulls her dark red shirt over her head then calls out "I'll there in one minute!" Ebony grabs tight hip hugger jeans and put them on then her boots and walks to the door and open it.
"Hello Dante... I haven't call about any missing person and you know that so is there anything I can do for you?"

he loks at her for a second, and closes the door.
"We can't have anyone knowing that I'm looking for the killer.theres ears everywhere.do you mind if I sit?" He looks around at the messy room.

Ebony steps back so he can enter into the house.
"go head... and it's not messy for once... I just got up..."
Ebony walks over to the couch and sits down and puts on her socks and boots then pulls out her cell phone and calls her work telling her boss she is going to be 20 minutes late.
"Alright Dante... like I said what can I do? I told them all I know about the killer..."
Ebony looks up at Dante. the only person that try to help her since her love died.
Ebony looks at the ring on her left ring finger then slowly trace her finger over it.

"you know for a fact that I don't work fully with the agency, I just help them occationally.And I'm trying to help you, not run you through more questions. I want to help you..." He looks at her with longing in his eyes, then turns away because he knows of the love that she still misses.
"I'll help you no matter what the odds, you know that.And I have found some more info on that killer."

Ebony looks at Dante, noticing the long in his eyes. She hate that after two years she still can't date another guy. Shakes her head then looks back at Dante.
"I know... and I'm thankful..."
Hearing that he found more information on the person that killed her belove Derrick is music to her ears.
"REally? What did you found out?"
Ebony stands up and head into the kitchen and gets two beers then walks out and hands one to Dante. Opens hers and takes a sip and sits on the arm of the chair. Founds his black cross and puts it on.

He opened his beer, and replyed" There is a gang of criminals that live in new york, and they are the reason that your love(he flinched) died.They are a part of a satanic cult, bent on killing anyone in their path, yet confusingly not women. They save the women, and go after them later.PLease don't worry, I can erase your name from databanks, and I can give you a new identity."
He handed her an I.D card and another social security card, among with several credit cards.
" I know that this is a serious thing, but I found out the order they kill these women, and I found out that your next.I have an amartmen in New york, and We'll be in enemy terrtory, but they'll never think to look in their own land.Just say the word"

Ebony looks at the new id card.
"Aburey Summer? Look like somebody had too much time..."
Ebony looks at Dante. Then looks around her room, closes her eyes.
"What is my new job going to be? I mean... working with antique has been my life... it's the only thing that doesn't remind me of him..."
Ebony slowly opens her eyes and looks straighting into Dante. She don't know why, but some reason some way... she doesn't want to go unless she knows Dante will be there to help her
"And by we? You mean we both are going to go there? Or are you going to show me the way and leave and only show up when you have too?"

He lightly grabs her hand, so delicate and soft. "I'll never leave you, you know that. I'll be with you every step of the way.you know that I'll protect you with my life and soul, and I do wish that you would forget about your last love, but I am very patient, and I would wait until after death for you."
He keeps her hand in his, and waits for her to talk...

Ebony looks down at the floor. Hurt by his words, but yet know how much truth it hold in them.
"Dante... I know.... I do care for you Dante.... not like I should be... but I'm scared... I don't want to hurt again. And I can never forget it about him....."
Ebony looks up slowly at him.
"It's hard... I know it's been two years... but I'm still half expecting him to come in and sneak up behind me and scare the living hell out of me."
Ebony slides her hand out of his and walks over to the kitchen and leans against the counter. Thinks "Dante... I'm sorry..." Ebony sigh softly and closes her eyes then takes a deep breath and begins to start washing dishes to keep her mind off of things.

he looks at his hand, unsure of what to do.

Ebony finish the dishes and walks back into the living room. Then sits on the arm of the couch.
"Dante... when do we leave?"
Ebony knowing that this doesn't erase the fact of what she just did, but it's better then talking about it. Ebony brush her hair out of her eyes.
"Have ya'll pick out a job for me? Or do I get to pick that one out on my own?"

Just then there was another knock at the door.
*It's me Dysis* said a voice from the otherside, *let me in hurry*

Dysis looked around her making sure that no one else was with her, the blood from her shoulder was dripping all over the place mat that said welcome.

Ebony walks to the door and open it.
"Dysis... what's wrong? did he hit you again?"

*What does it look like* said Dysis sobbing, she fell in the doorway, her body making a loud thud, the blood on her shoulder splattering on to the carpet.

Ebony catch Dysis and picks her up. Ebony mumbles "Thank god... she is only 95 pounds." Ebony carry Dysis over to her bed and puts her down.
"Dante... she been stabbed...call the police for me..."
Ebony runs into the bathroom and grabs some wet washcloth and runs back and places it to Dysis's shoulder.
"Dysis... did your b/f stabbed you? If he hit you again... I'll cut off his dick..."

*no...iiitt...was some man* she replied weakly * don't remember much, except I was walking over here and then...* she started crying.
She looked up at Ebony, who had been her friend for years...*I blacked out after that* said Dysis looking away.

Ebony looks up at Dante.
"Dante... could it be him?"

* who* asks Dysis trying to sit up on the couch, but not succeeding.
*can I have some gin and coke please, so this pain will go away* Dysis the rolls off the bed, and hits the floor then moans.

Ebony shakes her head.
"Yeah... in a sec."
Ebony stands up and picks her pick up and place her back on the couch then walks into the kitchen and makes a drink and walks back out and hands it to her.
"Dysis... why were you out this time of night?"

* I can't remember* said Aradiaafter she chugged the drink....* Whos' that guy over there* said aradia squinting her eyes to see him better.

Ebony looks over at Dante.
"He's a friend of mine.... "

*oh...* says Dysis confused...*tell him to come closer, I can barely see him*
Dysis sits up in the bed and pulls the close to her.

Ebony looks at Dysis.
"maybe when you are feeling better... but we better get that arm fixed."
Ebony looks over at Dante.

*no, don't worry it'll be fine* said Dysis putting her hand over it.
*I need some sleep*said Dysis, laying back down and pulling the sheets over her head.

He lets his fingers over her half closed eyes."sleep"

Then he turns to Ebony."it may be him, trying to get to your friends. it may be a warning.We should leave as soon as possible.And dont wory about the job, Lets just say I'm not poor.Oh, and we will take her as well."

Ebony nods.
"Aright... Let's leave tomorrow or the day after... take as long as you need to get things final."
Ebony looks at Dysis.
"She'll be fine... I'll fix her shoulder up when she wake up."
Ebony walks to her dresser and pulls out all her clothes and begin to stuff them into a black bag. Then her jewel then takes out her pictures of her and Derrick and put them in another box and hide them underneath all her clothes. Then after she finish packing the things she needs she puts them by the door. Then looks over at Dante then walks over to him. Takes a deep breath then leans forward and kisses his cheek and whispers "Thank you..." Then pulls back and looks into his eyes.

Dysis begans to snore loudly...

Dante's eyes widened at the sudden kiss. he wasn't expecting it, and especially at this time. maybe she's comming around, he thought. or maybe she is just scared.
"Ebony, I don't want you to rush into things if your not ready.you don't have to force yourself."
He looks into her eyes, and turns away, blinking away a tear of sorrow, not letting her see.He turns to the woman sleeping, but she starts to say something softly, and he leans down to hear.

Ebony looks over at Dante then at Dysis.
"I know..."
Ebony whispers to herself "I need to let go of the past... and I do care for you."
Ebony graps the extra key to Dysis's room which is four doors down and walks to the door.
"I'll go pack her up... if we can. Sell all these stuff that is left behind off..."
Ebony without waiting for a reply walks out of her house and walks to Dysis and opens the door. Stops and listen for any sounds then founds the switch to turn on the lights.

Dysis wakes up....*AHHHH, bright light*

Ebony stops and turns around when she hears a sound behind her. She sees a shadow move then starts heading to the door with Dysis's clothes. As soon as she puts her hand on the door she gets slam against the wall. She sees a shine off of some metal object.
"What ever you want... just take... please..please don't hurt me."
Ebony looks at the shadow and noticed it's one of the guys that was there when Derrick was killed. Ebony Calls out for Dante, but get cut off with a hand. Ebony mumbles "Please... don't hurt me." Ebony slides her hand back of her pants and pulls out a knife and slam it into his side. The guy screams and slaps her and Ebony push him out of the way when he tries to grab the knife and runs down the hall back to her room and runs in and shuts the door and looks at Dante and Dysis. Calms herself then walks into the kitchen after dropping the bags.

*thats odd* says Dysis looking around, * I thought I heard something*

Pulling out a gun out of the back of his trench coat, Dante said"Are you all right?" When she didn't answer, He ran into the room and closed the door. a muffled sound could be heard in the room, and Dante came back out with the man, knocked out.
"Do you know this man?"Dante asked Ebony.

Ebony looks away then at the man.
"Yes... His name is Merrick Winter... he use to work at the bar."
Ebony looks at Dante... she tries her best to hide the anger and hurt in her eyes as she try not to remember that night. Ebony starts to feel the stinging where the guy slapped her and places her hand on her cheek.

Dysis's eyes widened...*get him away* she screamed and sat in the far corner of the room.

Dante said "dont worry, I want to talk to him."

drawing out a long sharp knige, he said"I'll be in the other room, you may want to cover your ears."

He took the man into the next room, and the sound of ropes could be heard scraping agianst the chair. Silent slaps could be heard, and there was the sound of a frightnend gasp. more slapping continued, and then silence. All of a sudden, a scream could be heard, and the words"Don't do it, please!!!" were screamed from the unknown man. During the sound of the screams, the sound of the door locking was heard clearly from the girls.

Ebony tuck Dysis back into the bed.
"Dysis... sleep... you need it. Don't worry... Dante won't let him harm you... or me."
Ebony goes outside and puts on her headphone and sits on the balcony rail. Trying not to picture what was going on in the other room. She pray hard that nobody else she love gets hurt. She closes her eyes as she feel the cool night air against her face. She looks down at her watch and slowly opens her eyes and see what time it is. Strange... today of all days... her best friend was attack. The same day Derrick die. She haven't realize that was today. She rubs her temple.
"They... want me dead... why Derrick?"

Dysis sits in the bed wide eyed with fright...She looks in the direction the scream came from, then a single tear ran down her face.

Ebony walks in and turns up her radio to almost full blast then sits back out on the balcony.

"Dante walks up to Ebony, and taps her arm. After she removed her headphones, he said"Before I continue with me 'interview', do you have any towels? really thick ones. you dont really need blood sticking to your floors..."

Ebony nods.
"Yes... the bathroom... it's to your left."
Ebony looks at Dante. Then sigh softly then goes back looking out at the city.
"I would rather you use the sheets... then the towls."

Dysis sits there still in fear, she gets up and heads for the front door. (I have to get out of here) she thought.

As Dysis was at the door, Dante stepped in front of it to stop her.

"If you leave, I fear that you will die. Will you please stay with us?"

Ebony stands up and walks back inside and grabs her purse and her knife and gun and puts the gun in her inner pocket of her coat then puts her knife in her boot. Looks at Dysis.
"Dante... Dysis and I are going out real quick."
Ebony grabs Dysis arms and walks out the door then head toward the stairs. Whispers in Dysis ear "There is something I have to tell you... don't freak out about Dante alright...."
Ebony sits down on the steps and pulls out a cig then lights it and takes a long hit off of it.
"Dysis... remember two years ago when Derrick died? I didn't tell anybody but... I was there that night... he was murder right in front of me... Dante been helping me found who killed him. It's a group... and they might come after me."

Dysis just stands there, *oh* was all she could think of to say.

Dante ran back into the room as the women left. He put a sedative into his captive, and there was enouth in there to put him out for several days.Grabbing his gun, he said"they are in more trouble than they know...". He then followed them, but out of hearing range and just far enough to keep an eye out for enemies..

Ebony stands up and keeps walking with Dysis... knowing that Dante is surely not to far behind.
"Dysis... come with me... They attack you once... they may attack again. I would feel bad if I lost my best friend."
Ebony off Dysis her cig then stops as she leans against the wall and takes off her trench-coat.
"Let's go back to the room...alright?"
Ebony slowly walks back to Dante and looks at him. Then slowly walks past him and back to her room.
