I was just wondering if anyone was aware of any possible sicknesses or diseases cause by drinking blood. The only thing I think is that if the persons blood which you are consuming is unhealthy or naturally, if you drink to much of it. I have searched everywhere, but no answer has yet seemed to satisfy me, hence, if anyone has any thoughts, or facts, do tell...

Given the right circumstances you could contract almost every disease known to man by drinking someone’s blood. Here is a tip, don’t do it and you won’t have to worry about it.

Technically speaking, you could catch a disease doing anything. Does this mean that I should do nothing at all? I am obviously concerned about the consequences, but my hunger surpasses any will I have to obey my obvious "tips". I need tips on whether or not terminal illness is imminent.

A quick list, then. (pardon the spelling errors, but disease names are bizzare)

HIV
Hepatitis A, B, and C
Syphillis
Gonorhea
Herpes of various sorts
Pneumococcys
Streptococcys
Tubercluosis
Chlamydia
or any other bloodbourne illness. For your information, any disease that can be distributed by sexual contact (other than public lice) can be transmitted by blood contact. So while you're drinking blood, think about how cool you'll look with genital warts around your mouth.

Then think about how cool you were when you realized that you had absolutely no way to protect yourself from anything in their blood when you drank it. For fuck's sake... can't you kids just fuck? At least then you can use condoms and prevent a few of the diseases.

Whatever happened to just porking... christ... it's like a lost art to looking cool now...

Main thing to do with blood drinking is make sure the doner is tested for deseases first. I've never gotten sick from it... but I'm very careful and controled when I drink.

I would suggest heating the blood in a microwave. then let sit and cool for 10-15 minutes. if any of the disease survive the thourough radiation blast then they deserve to kill you, its just plain not fair to discount the sucker after getting through something like that.

Microwave ovens contain absolutely ZERO radiation.

as for microwaving the blood, I think that might be somewhat successful because of the heat would kill the... icky stuff... but I have no idea how succesful it would be. So... um.. don't take my advice for curing AIDS ridden blood.

I think that if you are drinking the blood of your partner (I hate that word) then you are probably also shagging them also arent you?

And in that case, you are already putting yourself at risk so drinking their blood is not really any riskier.

I would have thought that you would have LESS chance of catching something through drinking theor blood than frow sexual intercourse because the acids in the stomach neutralise a lot of bugs. Current thinking is that oral sex carries a negligible risk of passing HIV due to stomach acids.

Hell, most of the bugs listed above can be caught from sharing a toothbrush!

So just as with sex, make sure you know the person you are with and dont go drinking blood of strangers.
